Guest guest
Hi. I think what has to be considered is the need for such testamonial material on the Group Site....if there is a majority of Members who want or could benefit from such postings. We do get testamonials here and in India and the testamonial section of the website is periodically updated. Regarding cataloging for the Index, there is really no extra work for me. I do know that there are testamonials in the archives. I never classified them as such. Personal testamonies are really throughout the various subjects we have listed. Will be mindful of this in the future in wording The Subject Lists Personally, as an individual it is not something that holds interest for me. I suppose I don't need to have access to such information. As moderator, as mentioned, I would like to get feedback from other members..from there..those who are interested in compiling such data can develop methods to record such material and as things progress I will help as I can based on my work schedule. As with everything regarding rudraksha..I have found... If its suppose to happen it will just flow. If its not suppose to happen, it won't. So let's see what everyone has to say. Guest guest
Dear Members, In reading about the beads on the Rudraksha Centre website and reading the posts, it has occurred to me that it would be very helpful to those new to Rudraksha who are seeking their assistance for concrete conditions to have everyone post their exact experiences with the different mukhis. From what reading I've done in the archives, I've found very very few specific posts about a definite healing. THe information on the Centre website and in the Rudraksha RAtna books seems to be largely parroting the scriptures and the claims of what the beads can do far outweigh the results I've read of. I am not trying to attack anyone on this, but simply being rational and wanting to help. (who knows, perhaps the claims in the scriptures were made in a Yuga when the effects were more precise and rapid to manifest). I think it would be very helpful to people out there in pain and in difficult circumstances to know the "reality" of what can be expected wearing the beads. So, I propose that everyone on the list now send in all first-hand data they have about experiences with rudraksha in a condensed way. This would make a very significant and succinct addition to the group files. I think it'd be good to include the vaguer shifts in daily experience, the very exact experiences like "my stomach ulcer has been healed" or "my income increased by 30% within 3 months of beginning wearing them", and the no-change experiences to give a really complete picture of what people are experiencing. This data would be best submitted with an exact description of what mukhis were being used. For instance, a submission like: rudrakshas worn: 1 1-face, 1-9face, 3 11-face experience: deepened and lenghtened meditations by estimated 50% time frame: this happened after 2 weeks and has continued ever since astrological predictions for this time frame (if known): my astrologer was suprised that this happened as I am not supposed to be in a time period of significant spiritual growth **this last factor is a bit of a pipe dream, but it would truly help us clarify the role of the beads in mitigating karma** I think it would be fabulous if Rudra-Centre asked all purchasers to consider taking part in a Rudraksh Bead Societies Club study to monitor their effects. I think a similar study for use of gemstones would be equally as helpful, perhaps more, as much more money is spent globally on gemstones than rudraksha. Before sending the responses I request, I suggest that we all wait until the group and group moderator responds to what I suggest so that hopefully a well-thought out "response form" is created to streamline and facilitate an effective response. I would be happy to help with any of these efforts if Kanti needs help cataloging responses, etc. Your thoughts? Sincerely, elizabeth SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! Guest guest
Dear Elizabeth: I thought i'd put in my two cents based on my personal experience. In general, i've had a positive experience since i started wearing Rudrakshas. It would be very difficult for me to pinpoint exactly how it has been beneficial or that the rudrakshas specifically had anything to do with it and therein lies the problem. In general my health has improved and things seem to fall in place more but then i don't know if it's the rudrakshas or it's just the way things were meant to be and i would have been fine wearing just plastic beads but it so happens that i started wearing rudrakshas and i've started noticing little things. Maybe these little things were happening all the time but i've only now started noticing them. Who knows? As far as specific health claims, i think it is a bit simplistic to assume that rudrakshas can cure any and all conditions. If it were that simple Ayurvedic vaidyas would be doling them out by the dozens. After all they are more readily available than a number of plants so why would anyone go to the trouble of trying to find anything else. I consider myself a serious scholar and student of Ayurveda and have yet to come across a reference that specifically recommends rudraksha preparations for various health conditions. That is not to say that it may not exist(Ayurvedic literature is encyclopaedic and i haven't read every book). Having said that, i have come across a number of vaidyas who suggest a shita kashaya(cold infusion) of the beads specifically for lowering blood pressure and know a number of folks in the Ayurvedic community who wear them (which is how i got interested in the first place). There is a class of preparations called Kshira paka (milk decoction) in Ayurveda and what you are describing falls under that. It might interest you to know that lasuna kshira paka (milk decoction of garlic) is also recommended for general debility and neurological conditions (even though garlic falls under the class of vegetables in Ayurveda that are recommended to be eaten raw). According to the scholar N.S. Mooss, the proportions are 2 tolas (approx 21 or 22 grams) of raw drug, approx 8 oz of milk and 32 oz of water are to be boiled and reduced to 8 oz. (in other words, evaporate the water) and drunk warm. I have used the same preparation with Ashwagandha and it has helped a lot with my "nerves". I'm a bit hesitant about testimonials because how can you specifically say that the cure/bad luck whatever was because of the rudrakshas. Just my thoughts. Good luck and i hope you get well. I was first introduced to Rudrakshas in February this year. I was online searching for a yantra for some reason and came upon the Rudra Center Website. Something about the beads caught my attention. I asked for a recomendation and was told the Dhyan Yog would be good for me. Something told me I needed this necklace. Given, at this time I wasn't of the mindset to drop $200.00 on a few wrinkled beads. I talked to my wife. She told me I could order it. I don't know why. She wasn't of the mind set to let me drop $200.00 on some wrinkled beads on a string either. Anyway, I got them. I placed the order and 4 days later they showed up at my door. I put them on and I could feel the energy from them. I'm a Pranic Healer and am used to feeling things like this. It was very intense and I could feel my mind slowing down and finally becoming completely still. After this I meditated a long time and kept it up for several weeks. Things were different. My awareness was clearer then it had been. The inner flame had grown stronger. I loved this necklace so much I decided to become a distributor. The power of them is intense. Next I ordered a recomendation for my wife. She got an 11, 10, 7, 4, and a 5 on a silver chain. She liked it. She has been wearing it since about March. She feels no inner difference, but her business has almost doubled. She's a massage therapist too. I ordered a 30mm 5 mukhi to do reiki with. When I hold it in my hand I can feel a tingling feeling and have been using it on my back. I go to sleep with it. Since falling asleep with this bead on my back, the pain that was in my back for a year and a half dispersed. Now it is a slight tightness that massage is easily remedying. Oddly enough the pain that was in my right hand has vanished too. I can play guitar again and enjoy it. I also have a necklace with two 3 muhkis, two 6 mukhis, two 7 mukhis, and one 13 mukhi. I can't wear it very often. When I do I feel like my spinal cord is getting twisted too tight. I get grumpy and short tempered. I wore it for about a month after I got it. Since then my income and work has doubled. I've noticed more oppurtunities in life. My ability to comprehend Ayurveda and Jyotish has increased. The Rig Veda is clearer. Since then I've ordered loose beads for friends and even sold a few. All the people I give them too greet them with delight. Why? I mean really they are just wrinkled up beads right? They had no idea what they are, but they always seem to cherish them. Recently I ordered a 14 mukhi(ajna chakra) for myself (my wife didn't even kick me out of the house for spending all that money on a little seed I strap to my head when I meditate) and so I could take a picture of it and put it on my website for others to see what is available. (That website isn't done yet) This was the most interesting. When I started wearing it that was when the last little remainder of my body pain left. My meditations became clear. I could sit in pure consciousness for a very long time. Usually I would meditate for 45 minutes twice a day. When wearing this I sat naturally without strain for up to 90 minutes. (this may not be a lot to most of you, but it was very different for me) I didn't even get that after meditation fried feeling for sitting that long. Peace remained afterwards. I didn't keep this bead with me all the time. I only use it when I meditate. The effects remain through out the day and night. The effects of each of the beads I wear took this long: **Dhyan Yog Kantha - Immediately **Necklace with two 3 muhkis, two 6 mukhis, two 7 mukhis, and one 13 mukhi--This one took a while. I was still in the honeymoon of the Dhyan Yog Kantha. After the month of wearing it I had a hard time wearing it all the time. **14 Mukhi - Immediately Also, I noted with the Dhyan Yog Kantha I developed much more energy. I was able to remain healthy, alert, and calm after only 4-5 hours of sleep when usually I had to get at least 8 to be happy and peaceful in the morning. This effect did pass. Now I need about 7 hours. That is my experience. I've found that being receptive to life and allowing the highest good to flow through has been the greatest help. Going with the flow and accepting any change as it comes is helpful. That way I'm not holding onto the past and am able to respond appropriately to the present and future possibilities. I just wanted to remain in Superconscious all the time. That is why I bought the beads. I am now done spending money on my enlightenment. I've spent enough I think. The other things that occurred just happened. I didn't seek them out. So now I hope to share this with others. That is why I became a distributor. They work for me, that is all I can tell you.
