Guest guest
(sorry guys-- I just accidentally sent this post with the wrong heading--didn't change the heading "posting suggestion and neurological disorders", so here it is with correct subject line) Dear Members, Regarding the recent member expulsions, for the sake of promoting complete public information and opinions about Rudraksha, I think that the unwanted, inciteful and aggressive messages should be kept in the group files under an appropriate new heading so that people can hear derogatory comments about the site and Rudruksha Centre and discriminate for themselves. Although the majority of members here do business with Rudruksha Centre as buyers, sellers, or both, the stated aim of the group is not about Rudraksha Centre, but about Rudrakshas. I think it is therefore the club's duty to put personal preferences and emotional reactions aside and conscientiously represent these individuals who are having a certain experience with the world of Rudrakshas, even if this experience seems so negative and challenging to us (isn't it all God anyway?!). Perhaps it is ok at some point to ban them from the daily club activities if their presence is persistently abusive, but I think it's important to the integrity of the club's purpose that the essence of their voices remain represented somehow. Guest guest
Dear Elizabethji Sorry forgot to answer one of your comments......there is no need to keep unwanted, inciteful and agressive messages in group site archives.....we are trying to promote education and trade of Rudraksa and this type of inflamatory message has no place on the site Thanks and Take Care My Friend DharmaDev shehoss <shehoss99 <> Sunday, June 29, 2003 11:58 AM RBSC : member expulsions (sorry guys-- I just accidentally sent this post with the wrong heading--didn't change the heading "posting suggestion and neurological disorders", so here it is with correct subject line) Dear Members, Regarding the recent member expulsions, for the sake of promoting complete public information and opinions about Rudraksha, I think that the unwanted, inciteful and aggressive messages should be kept in the group files under an appropriate new heading so that people can hear derogatory comments about the site and Rudruksha Centre and discriminate for themselves. Guest guest
Dear Elizabeth: Person in question who was banned from the site posted several messages, I believe it was in April that were also quite abusive in nature . He seems to display a huge amount of misdirected bitterness, hatred and anger. I was forced to put a block on my personal email from his emails because of the derogatory nature of what he was sending me. What he was sending was not asking for help, what he was sending was more of the same hateful attacks that were really quite disproportionate to what his complaint was at the time That aside. The purpose of the Discussion Group is not to discusses Rudra Center or to promote it. The Purpose of the Discussion Group is to provide a forum for those who are a commited to exchange ideas and information about rudraksha. Because of this, most who use this site approach the Rudraksha in a devotional manner and it is keeping the Peaceful aura that is conducive to spiritual seeking that makes the Group unique and supportive. It is quite an oasis in Cyberland. There is a difference between sharing differences of opinion and verbal abuse. There is a difference between a person who sincerely wants help or is having a problem and a person who wants to use the vehicle of a public forum to manipulate, call attention to themselves, consciusly disrupt with intention and wreak havoc. It is keeping the attitude of sanctity and reference of the holy rudraksha that has always prompted the actions of removing persons who choose to come here and attempt to spoil what Lord Shiva created. Not everyone who comes here need to "believe" in rudraksha. Not everyone who comes here need have a "positive experience" with rudraksha .. For therein is the opportunity for sincere seekers to discuss with one another and learn from each other's experiences and spiritual undrestanding as well as from the Scriptures. To observe such negative behavior that we feel is disruptive to the integerity of the Group does not come often. Monitoring this behavior has nothing to do with personal opinions or predjudice, but adhering to the standards of Sanatan Dharma that are the essence of rudraksha usage. Above all, the is a Spiritual Group dedicated to supporting people on all paths in the usage of rudrakska to assist them in the journey to enlightenment. As such, there are codes of conduct and behavior that are conducive to living a healthy, happy self empowered life. There is a certain decorum that is expected amongst intellegent men and women who make their spirituality paramont in their lives. There is an environment that has been created here in this group simply through the hearts of the members that makes it a true community and a place where people feel safe to share anything and be supported. If one person continuously chooses to make the Discussion Group a stage for their own display of hate and continously make posts with the intent only to disrupt, then they will be asked to leave. What you saw yesterday was not a disgruntled customer going over the edge. It was a continuation of several months display of dysfunctional behavior by a being who could use some prayers and the intervention of the Grace of Lord Shiva. Guest guest
Dear Kanti, Thanks for your responses to my messages! You are right, I was not aware of the history with these people. My thinking about including something of their opinions was that their behavior and thoughts were interesting given that they were using rudraksha beads, and I do think that commentary on the service of all providers of rudraksha, Rudraksha Centre and others, would be an appropriate file for archives of this club for people looking to know all of the suppliers and people's experiencdes with them. But it does sound like these guys were perhaps not perceiving or representing their experiences accurately, so... enough said! I appreciate your efforts as moderator to nurture a healthy environment for all of our inquiries about and devotions to these beautiful holy beads! Thank you, Kanti, elizabeth , "kantikakini" <thunderheals@a...> wrote: > Dear Elizabeth: > > Person in question who was banned from the site posted several > messages, I believe it was in April that were also quite abusive in > nature .
