Guest guest Posted July 10, 2003 Report Share Posted July 10, 2003 Hello! All: I received my rudraksha beads, sphatik beads, mercury lingam, and mercury bead about two weeks ago. I have mala made up of 3, 4, 5 6 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16 and Gaurishankar. I had purchased some rudrakshas from 'Amritanandamayi''s ashram. Such as 1, 2, 3, 4,5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and I think 16 and also Gaurishankar, however, these ones do not have 'praanprathista done in them, and I had beaded them myself, so the combination was not accurate. I will bead them again and have pooja done, later. I am experiencing a lot of things, firstly, I want to thank Neeta, for her hard work and I appreciate her speedy service, in both responding to my e-mails and also, sending my stuff over. I feel a lot of energy from the beads, and also the mercury bead, which is very heavy, the wire broke, so I will figure someway of fixing it. The ring was a bit tight on my finger and I gave it to my daughter, and she is wearing it. I placed a picture of my daughter underneath the mercury lingam, and communication between my daughter and me has changed drastically, she has agreed to have a pooja done with me regarding the planet situation with her. The most interesting change is that I am very drawn to Vishnu, where as prior to getting the beads I was strictly into the 'mother' energy, 'Chandi'. I am looking for the script for Vishnu's first prayer 'Om Bhagawate......' Also could someone please tell me of how to do the 'Nyasa' with Vishnu's mantra....where one is required to touch the eight digits of the fingers and then the thumb, and also where you touch your head, heart, eyes etc. If Vishnu is higher than Shiva, do we still salute Ganesh first. I say my Guru mantra, Ganesh, Vishnu, Shiva and then others. I am chanting all of the mantras associated with the beads, as my 40 days is not up yet.
