Guest guest
Greetings to the group. I have been wearing mercury for about twelve years now, and I get a discoloration on my skin only after extended use. On my skin it is green, and will not come off even when I shower. I live in the desert and have been wearing the "regulus" mercury because of the 110 degrees out here which is made through a cooler process than the Patanjali which is very hot. On another matter, one of my buddies has tried to get a recommendation for Rudraksha but to no avail. I have e-mailed DharmaDev as well but again to no avail. I also can't seem to change my old e-mail address to my new address it dosen't seem to stick. Any suggestions from the group? Anywho, I hope you are all well. Thanks for listening... om namah shivaya shivaya namah om David D.

Guest guest
Dear Tiiaji: Thank you for sharing the info you discovered on parad with us. If you haven't done so..please... check the File index of the Archives as we have had considerable discussion. I don't think you will ever get a general consensus from the group on Parad ! :-) I can only go from my personal experiences... I respect Parad greatly. I also know I cannot wear it because my nature is too fiery and use it on my puja. I did give my Mother a mala and she has it on her bed board. She doesn't wear it and has commented on how resetful her sleep has been ever since she has had it in her room. I have personally found that parad generates a huge energy field and one can receive its benefits without wearing it. Mr. Kirk raised an interesting point the other day in that even though Parad is a part of alchemy, it is man made where as rudraksha are natural. Because of that my personal observation is that one can use rudraksha readily without expriencing side effects..even if one were to wear many very high power rudraksha, there would be a chance of maybe feeling light headed or overly stimulated, but there seems to be an in herent "safety valve" within rudraksha that is protecting and a person knows that they may be overdoing something. Because parad comes from alchemical sciences it seems that it really is something that needs to be used under the supervision of a person who truly knows Parad and how to diagnose for it and the qualties of the kind of parad one is considering to wear or ingest. It is similar to Homeopathy and aryuvedic medicine as well as western herbology..these substances are all beneficial, but they seem to lend themselves better to use under the care of a skilled practitioner that the freedom of experimentation that rudraksha affords us .. Each individual is going to have their own relationship with Parad. Each person has a different karmic and biochemical make up. Therein is where it calls for a high degree of personal discernment. The power can be highly seductive. Blessings to you.
