Guest guest
I just remembered - I am nearsighted with defect of right eye since almost 30 years. Nearsightedness on best left eye is progressing from -5.25 to -6.0 in only one year, also some 6 months ago I developed a large vitreous opacity in my left good eye, very worried by loosing eye sight. What Mukhi should be included in my personal mala to help heal this? I did not write Ms Neetha about this, I think I will wait until I have all info from my astrologer and send this along also. Love, Ole
Guest guest
Dear Ole: With all due respect, might i suggest a visit to the eye doctor. In November of last year I had the good fortune to visit the vaidyas at Sreedhareeyam www.sreedhareeyam.com for my near sightedness(this family has been practising Shalakya tantra for several hundred years and from personal experience i can assure you that it is done in the best spirit of Ayurveda. Their knowledge and expertise is matched only by their humility)There are a few others that are also very highly reputed unfortunately they don't have websites. Granted my situation was not as serious as yours seems to be(i went in to improve my eyesight as my near sightedness was bothering me as i spend a lot of time staring at the computer screen)but i met people there with very serious eye problems. Anyways, the vaidya recommended Kashyapa choornam taken with Vainatheya Ghrtam and honey. Also Sunetra eye drops. This of course may not be applicable to you as they'd have to look at you first but i think the Sunetra eye drops can be used by anyone. Also regular intake of Triphala churnam helps. It would be well worth your while to write to them and see what they have to say. I don't know what the laws in your country are as far as getting the medicines but hopefully they're more progressive than the US. Take care and good luck! Guest guest
Dear Suraj, Thanks for those tips. I have been to visit eye doctor. The vitreous floater is not something that can be cured within allopathic medicine, except for expensive advanced laser surgery. I have studied and used a lot of Ayurveda last 6-7 years and at one point wanted to study in India under Visharad Ayurved Vaidya Ratna/Ayurvedacharya Pankaj Naram. I will check the Sreedhareeyam website for any specific ayurvedic insights about floaters. I use Triphala Choornam, but will also be using MahaTriphala Gritham, specifically recommended for nearsightedness. I also use other supplements and daily use ayurvedic pinhole glasses to train eye muscles. But nearsightedness is increasing and need to find out about root of problem. Thanks, Ole --- In , "surajraghavan2002" <suraj_raghavan@h...> wrote: > Dear Ole: > With all due respect, might i suggest a visit to the eye doctor.
