Guest guest
I forgot to add that the gemologist also mentioned that most comercially available pearl is bleached so if you do shop for chinese tissue cultured pearls you might want to ask for ones that are non- bleached. Guest guest
Namaste Suraj-ji, Thank you for sharing wonderful information. It is very true that natural freshwater and saltwater pearls costs big dollars. In Australia where we have a huge pearling industry, some mighty precious pearls range from A$38,000- upwards (natural color of course). May I also humbly add that unbleached Chinese tissue pearl has been used for millennia by the Chinese as 'pearl powder' in Traditional . A (TCM) traditional Chinese herbalist may be able to expand more on its virtues.
