" Srivastava is the third generation practitioner of rudraksha

therapy.In his 15th year of practice, he claims to have treated

various physical and mental ailments — all with the help of the

mystical rudraksha......The various colours, shapes, sizes and the

number of cuts, called mukhis, determine the value of the bead.This

helps to determine its significance in treating different ailments,

says 54-year-old Srivastava.....

 

Srivastava says, " From regulating blood pressure, to treating skin

problems, backache, headache, and providing relief from tension,

phobia and insomnia, I have had a good success rate. In fact,

rudraksha is extremely effective in treating psychiatric cases."....I

charge the bead by uttering certain mantras.....the beads work upon

the human body and mind through vibrations.The patient is generally

asked to report back after 45 days."In most cases, people get some

positive results within this period.And, sometimes it becomes

necessary to change a bead depending upon the feedback from the
