Dearest Friends,

Namaste

Thank you for all your messages. I haven't been able to reply to the

recent ones for the time being. This is due to port scan attacks

whenever I got online. I couldn't even type one sentence in peace.

This activity has been especially ferocious and tiresome yesterday.

The latest is:" ______ blocked traffic to port 135 on your machine

from port 4445 on a remote computer whose IP address is

63.60.247.113. This communication attempt may have been a port scan,

or simply one of the millions of unsolicited commercial or network

control messages that are routinely sent out over the Internet. Such

unsolicited messages are often called Internet background noise."

An example was: In 18 minutes, I had 54 attacks from the same source.

I had to get offline to sort it out. It almost froze my program.

Whoever it is, has been trying to access my Net Bio, Files, Ping

Request, etc. etc. I have a log full of these activities. Have a

good mind to post the log details here.

It has happened too many times to be a mere coincidence. This

particular action seems to be deliberate.

Whoever you are, please be Kind and leave me in peace so that I may

enjoy the company of my kindred brothers and sisters on this List.

Thank you, my friend.

Now the latest report: "_______prevented a remote computer from

connecting to port 137 on your computer. This connection attempt was

probably legitimate network traffic. Port 137 is commonly used by

networked Windows computers to enable file sharing and other resource

sharing."

(And I haven't even completed typing this post.)

Thousand-fold blessings,

Sy
