Guest guest
dear darmadevaji om namah shivaya and pranams, i have read about thew 40 days discipline followed while wearing the holy rudraksha. i received a mala 3, 5, 2 mukhi from rudra centre aand started wearing on 4th august after duly performing the puja and also abhisheka. i would like to know more about the 40 days dicipline. i regularly do eka-rudrabhisheka wearing my 5mukhi mala and the above necklace. since i started wearing the necklace i would like to know if there r any other rules to be followed apart from what i am following. the necklace is really wonderful and the effect cannot be expressed in words. i would like you to enlighten more on this. om namah shivaya
Guest guest
The more sophisticated ones on this listserv can tell you more about that than I can. But, I can tell you one important thing.... with or without puja, over about 40 days of wearing, the sacred energies of the beads "integrate" with the natural energies of your mind, body, and spirit. That's when the benefits dramatically begin to manifest. After 40 days, it gets EVEN better then that! Guest guest
dear Dharmadev ji thanks for the information provided. i would like a little more clarification. you said that the beads should be worn 40 days without break. but i remove the mala and necklace before going to bed and wear them back the next morning after chanting the beeja mantras followed by eka-rudrabhisheka. is this ok? hope you liked the bilva asthotra file i uploaded. i do have the rudra namakam+ chamakam (preceeded by the ANGANYASA and KARANYASA mantras ) including mantrapushpam and Shanti mantra as a single audio file recited by experienced ghanapati but the file is too big approx 50mb. Guest guest
dear arjuna nice to hear from you. one of my friend gave it to me which i play everyday while doing the eka-rudrabhisheka and at the same time recite the matras. it really energizes the entire room and myself. as i said the file is approx 50mb plus and i think it will not be possible to upload to the files list since the capacity is only 20mb. if you really want it then i shall cut it into different parts and send them to you. for that i would require some time. Or in other case you can tell me a place where i can upload the whole 50mb file so that you can download it. danyavaad mitra Arjuna <arjunaacharya wrote:Dear Raoji, I would love to have the audio file you mentioned. Guest guest
I read somewhere that one should wear the beads for at least 10 hours per day. I wore mine 24 hours per day, during the first 40 days, except while bathing, or while cleaning them. I made a close-fitting choker of the beads that I needed most. Because it fits so closely, it is comfortable for sleeping. The problem with sleeping in a long mala is that one can roll on it, uncomfortably. Guest guest
dear mitra Arjuna excuse me for the delay in responding to you. i was bit busy so could not get back. Anyway as far as the audio file you asked, i am working on it so that i can upload it to our list in seperate parts. in the mean time i came across this url http://www.musicindiaonline.com/music/s/?q=namakam&c=0200 it contains the namakam and chamakam by HN Sastry and AN Sarma with excellent recitation. i do have a audio cassette of this bought long back. if you r india then i shall fetch one for you. But the above recitation does not include ANGANYASA although there is KARANYASA included. I will upload the ANGANYASA and KARANYASA as a single file to this list as soon as i am finished with the job.
