There are references to these mantras in the Ramayana but they are not in the text itself. This subsequently has led to an incredible journey the 2 of us have been on finding these mantras in an archaic script that was neither Devanagari script nor transliteration..converting that to Devanagari; transliterating, translating that and figuring out how to chant it :-) The Bala AtiBala mantropanishat is the spiritual practice of the Goddesses Bala and Atibala who bestow the great strength of the Devi. What we are discovering is a very poewrful practice that actually nurtures and heals the physical body by raising consciousness to the awareness of the Devi. IN our quest to learn more, Dharma Devaji approached Thomas Ashley Farrand with our work and he decided to teach the Mantropanishat in his retreat on Ramayana..so that is what initiated our participation in the first place. As we learn and grow in the practice we learn more and we still have much to understand in the translation and the feedback we get from Holy people that have helped us.. Eventually we know we are to bring this hidden treasure to groups in the form of a Course or an evening in which people can benefit from Shri Devi's graces. Is a really exciting time for Rudra Center as we are now in the process of formulating events that people can attend in a class experience to benefit from Lord Shiva's Grace. Its a whole lot of fun too !!! Guest guest
Dear Kantiji, Where can I learn more about this. I am fascinated with what you say. My wife and I just finished watching Ramanand Sagar's version of the Ramayana and Lav Kush, his version of the Uttar Ramayana. They are wonderful! Guest guest
Namaste Arjunaji: The Bala Atibala Mantropanishat is am extraordinary occult text and there are no written commentaries on it. That is why our work has taken alot of effort. As we become more grounded in the practice we will be sharing more about it with others. Thanks for your interest.
