Namaste Syji,

Hmmm..I have received SO MUCH extraordinary amount of spam mail

recently on my webmail (I must be getting at least 300% more than

usual, up to 50 mails a day!) and after just reading your post I

checked my bulk folders where these mails are delivered into and

these emails are actually the same as you are mentioning, but I do

not yet recognize if the mails are seemingly from addresses of any

members here. I am no computer wizard, but definitely something is

going on here. Anyone else?

Dear Oleji and Friends

Yes Rudra Center America is also recieveing these spam mails with

email addresses of members of the club and other repeated mails that

say open the attatchment for details...also approved.....all of these

are readily identified and taken out by our AntiSpam

programs....someone is actively going through Rudra Center Club Site

and collecting addresses

Keep your Shields Up My Friends

Thanks and Take Care

Namaste Oleji,

Pranaam

The reason why some addys are not recognised is because the person or

persons doing it are advanced technos.

I.e. someone can click on the "Properties" on my addy and track

it to my private email account (never used on group postings) and

send mails to my private addy.

This means, they track the "webmail properties addys" (hotmail,

, incredimail, rediff, etc. etc.) of some members here and track

it to their private accounts with i.e. aol.com, rediff.com, etc.

etc.. Then send mails by "bouncing" off those accounts without the

individuals even knowing that their addys have been used to send

mails and viruses.

Those subject/topics I such as "Thank You, Your Application, Wicked

screensaver, Approved", etc. contain variations of the Blaster

Worm/Sobig.F viruses.

Scratching my head also about Robyn, the South African distributor

for Rudra Centre. I don't know this lady nor have corresponded with

her in any form or manner. Her addy was also bounced off to send

mails to me.

Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi Om

Salutations Sri DharmaDev Aryaji,

So glad to have your special darshan, thank you. You are right, this

person seems to be busy gathering addresses from the members' list

and making mischief. Seems like this person or organisation is

online 24 hours a day. Everytime I logged on, the same IP address

and properties show up. This is because I'm online at different

hours of the day and night on some work and study assignments.

Thank you Devaji, for sharing your comments.

Om Namah Shivaya,

It may not be a deliberate attack. Some viruses attach to address

books, and send spam to any address they find.

Members who use Norton might want to set it to update daily, for

awhile. And, do the occasional manual scan, just to check.

My fiance uses an application that makes one's computer literally

invisible to other computers, thus impossible to attack. The virus

can't find the computer. If any one wants, I'll ask him about it and

post the info.

Mac users will find that infected attachments just won't open.

One other thing... if you get an e-mail from a member that has a title

that you wouldn't anticipate, delete it.

I once got an e-mail from my boss, titled,"I Love You." I deleted it

without opeining it. It was the Love Bug virus.
