This was a very interesting article, but terrible to read about the

possible danger of extinction in India. I had no idea!

 

I would like to read more details, there must be published research

articles/data available from the botanists at the North Eastern Hill

University and at the Regional Institute of Science and Technology

in Assam. How can we possibly obtain these?

 

I wonder how the situation is in Nepal and Indonesia? Has anyone

ever researched the volume of trade with Rudraksha?

There are a number of articles on prjected extinction of a number of

varieties of elaeocarpus, in several areas of the world.
