Guest guest
Awesome! Tiina, how long is your mala? What type of thread did you use? An easy way of energising the beads would be to hold on to one bead at a time and chant the Gayatri mantra 108 times on each bead [depends on how many beads your mala has, and how much time you have]. Or hold the whole mala in one hand and with the other hand [the japa mala] and chant the Gayatri mantra once 108 times. Believe me, your mala will start to vibrate, if it is not already. Lada L. Baines Tiina Agur [xenamacbeal] September 6, 2003 11:12 AM RBSC : New Mala Dear Friends, my last message seems to have evaporated so I'll start over again. First of all, let me thank you for your kind help and valuable advice. Today I finished assembling my Special Siddh Mala (according to the pattern shown at Rudraksha-Ratna homepage), using small 5 mukhis and tiny golden flowers as spacers. The reason I made this Mala was that I had so many different malas and couldn't have them with me all the time, as I would have liked. So I ordered the missing beads and voila! - I have a Siddh mala! The process of making it was magical. Before disassembling my existing malas, I photographed them all. I had dreaded the moment of having to undo them but the Gods surprised me once again. It's hard to explain but it felt like every individual bead is a living entity, and the malas are like a group or community where living beings work together, enjoy each others' company and all together, form a much greater force than the sum of all their individual power. After disassembling the malas I made photos of each bead - beautiful! And of all the beads together in a little basket - still more beautiful! And after the new mala was finished - another photo - most beautiful of all! It seemed as if the beads were co-operating with kindness and love, and the end result is really something special. I put it on my altar and am going to do a puja tomorrow. But I can't stop just going over there and looking at it, over and over again. Sure it would be nice to have it blessed in a temple but - as far as I know - there are no Hindu priests where I live - that's in Estonia, in Northern Europe. We have Krishnaists and Buddhists but they have their own thing. And I love doing puja - so why not! The beads have been consecrated in a temple anyway before they were despatched. The pictures turned out beautiful but my CD drive broke down so it'll be a couple of days before I'll be able to share them with you. But I'll let you know once I've posted them. Thank you! Guest guest
Sounds Excellent! I'll be making one soon, as I had bought one of each mukhi up to 14 from 'Amma's' ashram, I'll get creative one of these days. I probably will use silk or man made thread. Were you able to knot with your thread. Lada L. It is quite long, Gauri Shankar at the height of the heart chakra and 1 mukhi at the height of the 3th chakra ...which I thought was kinda cool. I had Mahamitunjaya mantra and Gayatri mantra on while I was stinging it and was singing along ... I'll be sure to do it again at the puja ! , "Baines, Lada AVED:EX" <Lada.Baines@g...> wrote: > Awesome! Tiina, how long is your mala? Guest guest
Sounds great, she is my GuruMaa, I love her, we are talking about Mata Amritanandamayi right! She's the Greatest, I also like ShreeMaa, haven't met her yet. she is California, Napa Valley [wine country]. One of these days. Have you been to another spiritual soul in Germany, now I can't think of her name. She gives shaktipat just by looking into the eyes of her devotees on one to one basis. Lada L. Baines Tiina Agur [xenamacbeal] September 6, 2003 11:46 AM RBSC : Re: New Mala I didn't have to knot much as I didn't use knots in between of beads, just spacers. It tends to slip but I melted the ends a bit. Lada, are yo ua friend of Amma as well ? I don't have guru per se but Amma is the nearest thing to it... I'm going to see her in October in Helsinki , "Baines, Lada AVED:EX" <Lada.Baines@g...> wrote: > Sounds Excellent! Guest guest
Please do. L. Baines Tiina Agur [xenamacbeal] September 6, 2003 12:10 PM RBSC : Re: New Mala Yes we are speaking about the very same ! Can you believe it ! I got her Darshan after my own Mother died about 7 years ago - can you imagine the impact ! After the Big Hug I happened to glance at my palms and saw that the lines were all dark red. I thought that I had put my hand into something but no - it didn't come off. So I thought it must be a gift from her. The color just faded within a couple of days. And now, I keep checking her homepage and reading her quotes. I occasionally see a patient/client or two and She is always right there, helping me out. Wow, what A day I'm having ! Yes I've heard about the other lady too, but have not met her. Ladaji, may I drop you a line on you personal mail ? All my love, Tiina , "Baines, Lada AVED:EX" <Lada.Baines@g...> wrote: > Sounds great, she is my GuruMaa, I love her, we are talking about Mata > Amritanandamayi right!
