Guest guest
Dear Members, I just received a 14-face bead from Neeta and it is a little unshapely. Two of the faces are so small that you can barely tell they are distinct faces--they are slivers, only a few millimeters thick. I thought at first that it had gotten accidentally confused with a 12-face. I wrote her and she said I can return for an exchange. She said it as is off-season and as I had requested a black 14-face, choices were limited. SHe'd then send a larger, "better" one when the new crop come in. So, a few qeustions: 1. Would a well-formed 14-face bead perform better? Or does the size of face really matter? 2. When is the new season? 3. Are there ever true black or nearly black beads? This one i have here is really a striking deep rich brown--I'm assuming that's as black as they get. Thanks for your kind responses! love, elizabeth
Guest guest
Dear Ms. Elizabeth. In your mail, you have asked a question that Whether total black bead exists, in this connection, I would like to say that, Yes, there are total or charcoal black beads exists. As per my experience, however, most of the black beads float in water. Black colour beads are rare. Most of the people do not use black beads, I do not know Why ? In fact, black beads are more durable and look beautiful. Few are of the opinion that black beads absorbs and emits more energy, however, I do not have any idea about it. If any of the member has any information on Black beads, I would like to request to share it with others. Thanking you and with best wishes. Guest guest
Dear Members, Neeta has already written me regarding my questions so no need to reply. She's kindly insisting that the bead be returned and she'll send a new one shortly--I guess the new crop is just coming in now; didn't want to trouble her with the return but I guess the definition of the bead can matter. If any of you have interesting stories along these lines (experiencing different beads of the same face working differently), I'd love to hear. For the curious, here's her reply on how "black" beads are: " Beads get darker tone as they get older . Even if you take a light shade bead , it will become dark with usage and by oiling . Some becomes dark brown and some blackish . There are beads that are jet black ." love, elizabeth
