Guest guest
Dearest Lada, Regarding your question about what to do with the yantras and the wallpaper, I don't know if there's a technically right answer or not, but I'd do whichever makes you happiest. Especially if you do choose to focus on Durga for your sadhana, maybe just being surrounded by all your much-loved others will somewhat satiate your inclination to put attention on them all without requiring more of your time. Or, maybe it will make you more peaceful to simplify your puja room. Regardless, make a choice, and stick to it! And no, remember, the dieties won't get mad at you (Amma promises!). I swear I feel for your thinking--again so similar, quite the mirror you are! I have thought often that if I put in all the time I have spent on worship space and objects into simply meditating, I'd be further along. Ultimately, the more pre-occupied we are with all things physical (including holy things!) and making decisions about them, the more are minds are focused on Maya. Personally, I have thought of dropping everything I own into the sea or a river with the greatest respect, and then meditating in a white room with a seat and an alter with one candle and a flower on it. Instead, I'm simplifying slowly. As an aside for you, I wanted to tell you that in your writings you are so very beautifully innocent and big-hearted and I assume you're the same in the rest of your life--wish you were also as much of a mirror for me in that way as well! Instead, you are a role model. Wishing you the best! with love, elizabeth ps. I live in Seattle--if you're ever done here, it'd be great to meet. Guest guest
Sis Liz: I'm back on my feet, the anaesthetic [dosage], is still in my system and driving me....crazy that is. I did Hot Yoga yesterday and with every breath I incorporated the mantra. Inhale.....nostrils...Om Aim Rim Klim.....exhale... nostrils.....Chamundayi Namaha! I did 90 minutes of this, with 26 positions of 'Shiva'...Felt great. also, worked on my 'Sidha' mala last night, would have completed it, however, I'm missing 2-2Mukhis. I need assistance with the most powerful combination to overcome 'KaarSaarp', please help me out with this. I want to make this mala for my daughter, she is an athiest. On that note, would it be appropiate if she wore the 'rudrakshas', as she does eat meat of all sorts and consume alcohol and smoke cigs. [bad girl], but the 'kaarl saarp' is putting her through the ringer, she wants help, yet will not make changes in her life on her own. She is not a child, falls under the catetgory of an 'ADULT'. Thanks for the yantra suggestion! much appreciated!....I am absorbing all infor. I read.... Later. Lada L.
