Guest guest
Dear group members, Apologies for this question as it has no direct relation to rudraksha, but you are the only on-line group I am part of and I value your advice. We are having a spider problem in our house since there have been two very mild winters in Seattle and the spider population is out of control. Last year both my boyfriend and I were bitten by a hobo spider and got sick with gigantic necrotized wounds that took over a month to resolve themselves and close, and that was with antibiotics. Apparently these bites can sometimes cause paralysis or death in rare cases. The only deterrants we know of for these spiders are terrible glue traps that attract the spiders who then get stuck to the glue, being left to die from starvation. We've put out six of traps and I have been going around now nightly and gathering up the captives and squashing them (there's no way to let them go without ripping their legs off) in front of the altar with a prayer and my apologies. We tried a high-pitch insect deterrant but apparently this does no good with spiders. Anyone know of anything else to try? Know of any spider-away mantras that might work without some insane number of repetitions? I am very sad about having to trap and kill the spiders this way, and I really don't want to get another bite wound. Thanks for your help, elizabeth
Guest guest
Maybe this will help you zap the little necrotic bite delivering beasties... You have but the right to perform action; you have no hold on the results thereof. May you not seek the rewards of action and may you never engage in wrong action (This is not an excuse for inaction). Guest guest
Dear Ryanji Thank you for this My Friend.....yes is true.....inaction is not allowed in this Age.......one of the major problems we all deal with being born into Kali Yuga is that this is not the age of Ahimsa and at the same time we have many teachings in the Holy Books from the past that describe a better way of liveing............ for us all to strive for Again the problem is....as we all look around us in the relative field.....is that we are not liveing in the Age of Ahimsa that some of the Vedas describe....so yes..one of the solutions to push back the negative energies is Right Action that is to ask Lord Siva and Devas and Devis to resolve the imbalance for positive outcome....with Mantra and Rudraksa from the level of Samadhi while practiceing Samyama as described by MahaRishi Patanjali...... asking Almighty God and the Gods and Goddesses to balance and resolve in their own way so that Peace and Happiness is Maintained for the Mankind and Womankind.....Is Known that the Dharma of Law Enforcement is a constant maintence program in this Age Aum NamaSivaya Sivaya Nama Aum Dhanyavaad cha Pranams Seva Mitra DharmaDev thestar777 <thestar777 <> Sunday, September 21, 2003 5:38 AM RBSC : Re: ahimsa dilemma Maybe this will help you zap the little necrotic bite delivering beasties... Guest guest
I agree with Dharma Devaji. Where as exterminating poisons are not the most wonderful thing to have in one's home...They have been tested for safety. Seems to me that it would be a less painful death for the spiders. Prayers can be said on their behalf that they have an auspicious rebirth.. Air out your home to get all of the fumes out Kanti , "ShiningLotus" <shininglotus@c...> wrote: > Dear Elizabethji > > Namaskar My Friend.....please call spider exterminator in yellow pages of phone book....they will button up house and spray.....is a safety issue.....can also go to store and buy the Bug Bombs they have there......you put a couple in house and shut house up and the clean house for you.....be sure to turn of gas pilot lights and other open flames in house.....helping the poisonous spiders on to their next life is OK..maybe next time they come back as pretty flowers > > Thanks and Take Care > > DharmaDev > > e. mars <e_mars1133> > <> > Sunday, September 21, 2003 1:52 AM > RBSC : ahimsa dilemma > > > Dear group members, > > Apologies for this question as it has no direct relation to rudraksha, but you are the only on-line group I am part of and I value your advice. > > We are having a spider problem in our house since there have been two very mild winters in Seattle and the spider population is out of control. Guest guest
Dear Elizabethji: Just remembered this. I used to live in New York City. Roaches are a common problem there. Remember that some folks I knew bought these sonar devices that got rid of the roaches vibrationally. It's quite expensive but it did work. Don't know if it works on spiders. May be in Yellow Pages or on a web search. Good Luck. Guest guest
Hi there, Yes, I worked with a woman who was deathly afraid of spidars. She did get one of those sonar devices and said it worked wonderfully. Should be available on web, as Kanti says.
