Guest guest
The air in my apartment is scented with sandalwood incense. Drops of Ganga Jal that I have sprinkled around glimmer in the light of the deepak and candles. I hear my CD of the Chandi Path, in the background-- the beautiful story of the triumph of Lady Durga, who was created of the Light of all the Gods. The great Protectress. She who is Justice Herself. She who is the Terror of all that is false, and the tender Mother of all who approach her with love. The Great Destroyer of all of the asuras, and Saviour of the Gods. In the same way that she destroyed the asuras, she delivers us from illusion, ego, and all that separates us from the clarity and holiness and glorious perfection of our True Nature. I'm remembering that I forgot to wish everyone on this list, and all of your loved ones a Blessed Navratri. I heartily wish you Her bright blessings that are nurturance, protection, and deliverance from suffering. May we all be healed in Her holy embrace. May we remember that the Gods love us so much, that we would not be able to comprehend even a millionth part of it-- we wouldn't be able to stand the Light of it. I also wish that we all learn to love as the Gods love, because that is the only way to perfect healing, and perfect unity with our Source. Much love, Kari BTW-- Is it silly to cry when when listens to the chanting, and one doesn't even und
Guest guest
Kari MY Love! You Rock! Short-Update of my sidh mala making and Navaratri. I struggled with my mala making for a few days, I broke doubled silk thread, I broke, the strongest dental floss, doubled, and then I just thought ....what is the message here. Then I plugged into [headsets], 'Chandi Paath', and started making my mala. I used strongest wire, which is coated with plastic [God alone knows]....about the plastic part that is. Anyhow, very quickly the mala is as such, One Muki, hooks up to GauriShankar, one mukhi looks like a very beautiful basket, the handles of the basket are tiny silver beads, alternating with small cluster of [gape] like beads. ShreeChakra pendent in crystal and silver rests on top of the One mukhi. One side of Gaurishankar are 14, 12, 10, 8,8,6,6,6,4,4,4,2,2,2. The other side of GS are 13, 11, 9, 7,7,7,5,5,5,3,3,3,. I completed the mala and then did the 'Pranprathista pooja' with the tape, on Saturday night. I had my Parad Ganesh, Parad Lingam, Parad and sphatik SriChakras and small statues of Vishnu and Lakshmi. The pooja was awesome. [i was a bit confused, as I had bathed them with the Pancha...milk, yogurt, honey, sugar, ghee, prior to starting the pooja]. Instead of 'ladoos' or modakas I offered red grapes, and coconut. It was so, so, so, powerful. I have three 2-mukhis hanging at the back. I've closed off the mala with a silver chain with loops on each end between 2 and 3 mukhi. However, to wear it, I don't like it too long, so, I have an extra loop after the last 4-mukhi, and this is where I tie a ribbon to wear at that length. So the three 2-mukhis hang at the back, and I think that this is Ok, as I read somewhere, that this could balance my kundalini energy. I hope I'm making sense. Luv ya all. Lada L.
