From what I've been told is that apart from the pooja for 'kaarl saarp yoga', there will be up to nine priests, and they will read the 'Chandi' 108 times and then do Homa. Now if any of yous have read the 'Chandi' you will know how difficult it is to read it ONCE. I have read it nine times for the nine days in previous Navaratris, but Chandi Ma has guided me to this place, I just know it. It is not so much the money, there are so many articles that have to be offered during homa, and to the Goddess, and to feed the pandits and poor etc. Just look at, how much money I spend on myself, throughout the year, all of my OT money has gone to good use. Somehow I am always able to make ends meet. After 10 days I should be able to see changes with my daughter. Will keep you up-dated. When i pray tothe Goddess, I ask to be forgiven, for not teaching my daughter, the things she needs to learn, I have made so many wrong detours in my life and in the beginning, my daughter came along with me, but later became disillusioned, as I've been to many crooks, and frauds and u-name-it, I've tried it. so under no circumstance I am in a position to point my finger at her and say that, she has done anything wrong.....let alone all this 'kaarl saarp yoga' business. Hope you'll understand... the way I see it, if one more person ripps me off, they will never get rich, with my blood and sweat. ....Perhaps I ripped them off in my past life..... who knows.....I probably was a crazy medicine woman who enjoyed doing mantra japa...without even knowing ....what the end result would be.
