Guest guest
Namaste beloved Friends, Sincere thanks to all who mentioned and discussed the topic as mentioned on the Subject Bar. Let's clear this matter up once and for all, at least for the moment :-) Until further developments, that is. When this comes to pass, relevant information will be posted here. After discussions with Miss Neeta and Rudra Centre, may I bring this to your attention: Rudra Centre thanks all who discussed this subject. All your input is valuable and appreciated. We respectively went through the book by Suhas Rai again (I got my copy a couple of weeks ago but didn't have the time to scour it till yesterday.) We also find that Suhas Rai's work does not meet the eye scientifically as the book provided no conclusion about electrical and magnetic properties of Rudraksha. His entire 'study' of the topic is quite a myriad of hocus-pocus and merely indicated some correlations between different mukhis (facets) of rudraksha and inductance + capicitance. On Page 69 (depending on which book version you have), the beads used for 'testing', *seem* very much like Fake beads of 8 to 14 mukhi. It is doubtful whether he really used genuine rudraksha. There might have been a chance that Suhas Rai himself was duped by the supplier of the rudraksha beads given to him for tests. If this is the case, it was then beyond his control as he might not have realized the difference between genuine and fake or "altered" beads. The book was popular due to market demand for something that (supposedly) contained 'scientific backing'. For many years, this was the only book that mentioned the techno nuts and bolts. Rudra Centre has no hesitation in removing from the website, the excerpted article from Suhas Rai's book. That is, when the programmer/expert gets time to work on it. Many of us here are aware that some healing systems do not have scientific evidence nor been subject to scientific tests about how or why they work. One such healing system is Reiki. I've traveled and spent some time in Japan in the early 1980's but haven't been attracted to Reiki although I do not doubt its benefits. Being one of the foremost suppliers to ashrams, sadhus, Nagababas, Aghoris, respected yogis, yoginis, some heads of some of the 10 classical schools in India and the Himalayas as well as other holy men and women of various religious persuasions, Rudra Centre can confidently state that Rudraksha do indeed possess electrical and magnetic properties due to feedback from many of these wonderfully spiritual exponents. But the aforementioned properties need to be studied and tested further scientifically. This of course takes time and numerous resources. It would be great if our Distributors, Members of the Group and Moderators can participate in beginning such a research project. All input is highly welcome. But please bear with us. We have yet to finalize plans in co-ordinating this project that would be quite monumental to say the least :-)) If any of you here know of relevant university professors and scientific research units, Rudra Centre is open to suggestions. In the event that we find a respected scientific institution willing to take on studies, Rudra Centre will assist in any way we can with information, materials, resources and funds. All these of course, have to be discussed with Miss Neeta. Please also bear in mind that Miss Neeta is always extremely busy so if she is unable to respond to emails on the same day, please be graciously understanding and patiently await her reply. Alternatively, please post your messages here. Btw.. I've got conjunctivitis in the right eye so if I'm not around, please also patiently await my response if anyone addresses messages to me on this Group, many thanks.
