Guest guest
Namaste Sis Ladaji, Both your other messages have been noted. Yes, pls take off the Sri Chakra and the pendants. Humble suggestion: ------------------- Please use your intuition as a guide to see if you would like to try this: Make both the 1 mukhi and 14 mukhi your main beads or centre beads. Take off all the silver spacers. Use strong cotton thread and tie knots in between each bead. Use silver caps only for 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 Mukhi. Retain whatever type of pendalling that is already on the 1 mukhi and Gauri Shankar. This method is a lot lighter on your neck. Too many or too much stuff on the mala in confounding. Confusion is a type of burden. With heavy duty silver, the mala was accelerating too fast for you to absorb - it was difficult for you to know whether you were coming or going :-) With Sri Chakra combined in the equation, things were magnified lots more times over. You are not used to all this fast-paced acceleration; not yet. Please go slow and steady, one thing at a time. Rome was not built in one day :-) Although your combination was mentioned in the Shiva Purana as one becoming Shiva when wearing it, this does not mean everyone can "become Shiva" just like that. It also takes blessings from previous lives for one to immediately assimilate into this highly evolved state. The Siddh mala helps one undergo the journey to such a state but the effects are differ from invidual to individual depending on karma and rnanubandhana. Take for example Sadhus and Nagababas who are considered "Shiva Incarnates". They achieve siddhis through austerities, rigourous practice and penances, isolation, etc. The experiences and journeys they go through, are all resulting from preceeding births, respective karmas and rnanubandhana. Then they "become Shiva" without wearing anything but ashes and little else. For laymen or laywomen like you and me and other mere mortals (imvho): When we wear Siddh malas for a specific reason or purpose, we have to be mindful of certain factors such as: "Are we ready for the acceleration?, Can we handle it when it comes all at once? , etc. etc.. Visualize the design or make a drawing, count the beads and see how you feel. Again may I remind you to use your intuition. Guest guest
Agree with my sister. You may have to "ease into" the mala. Like starting a new exercise progam-- you can be uncomfortable, at first, if you don't "take it easy." Love ya lots! Guest guest
Dear Kari: I feel so blessed to have found all of you. I feel you all are always watching out for me and holding my hand with every step. I am a bit of a cry baby. I think the flu kinda threw me out of balance. I am wearing it again, I love the hugging sensation, however, I removed the 'ShriChakra'. Eventually, I will re-thread them, and someday go with gold or gold-plated caps, and still stay with silver thread. I feel that the silver caps have added a bit of weight, I'd like them to be around my neck and feel that they belong there. afterall they are my [babies]. I do start to have this suffocating feeling, when I'm without them. As for you, Tiina and Sister Syz's advice, I am using my intuition, and will perhaps wear the other mala on my wrist or around my waist, or may even make a hair band out of it. With me working for our [beloved] govt. over here, I somehow have to look, pretty, and professional at the same time. Beads, headbands and bracelets, in the [government] environment are strictly considered to be for [beauty] purposes. None of my collegues, in their wildest dreams have a clue as to why I wear beads. They do know that I make jewellery. I have been placed in this environment for a reason....so that is the way it will be for now. I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and do appreciate all the feedback, assistance, suggestions, and advice. Later. Lada L. Guest guest
Oh! now you're making me cry....I can't find words to describe you. You are a true GEM, including Kari, and Sy, and Arjuna and others. Lada L. Baines Financial Assistance Officer Ministry of Advanced Education Student Services Branch Tiina [xenamacbeal] October 7, 2003 10:06 AM RBSC : Re: RBSC Restring Siddh Mala/Ladaji Dear Lada, Dear Lada, just wanted to tell ya this - you are a real sweetheart, did you know that? I bet you are the favourite of all your colleagues ... People just need someone real and authentic around, and it becomes so much easier for them to thaw up a bit too. People like you who are not afraid to show what they really feel, to ask for help, to be a crybaby, are so blessed and protected. While a "strong" individual may just snap one day, people like you, honey, will live on forever and become more beautiful by year, innocent, humble and - not childish - but childlike ... as a blessing to us all Love ya Tiina , "karisprowl" <karisprowl@e...> wrote: > That's the nice thing about living in So.
