Guest guest
Namaste Suryaji, For those who have transcended the difference between "life and death" and found Smashan Maa, the soul once stretched to such dimensions, will never return to its intitial state. Hats off to you. On a physical note :-) Its like having sniffed the essence of decomposing bodies till it no longer affects the senses, then one truly proceeds and progresses.. Varanasi..! The old Benares.. One of Seven Holy Cities for pilgrimage, also a Tirtha for Jains & Buddhists, etc., and one of the holiest places for cremation. No mean feat to have performed sadhanas there. Must be Maa's blessings from preceeding births. (The great poet Kabir, lived there, I think..) Can envisage how incrediby charging the smashans and Lingams are. Do you use oil before rubbing your Rudraksha Malas with ashes? Or after? I'm trying to figure out the difference: before or after, if at all.. I have spent much time doing sadhana in the Smashan, including the Maha Smashan, Manikarnika Ghat, in Varanasi. Sometimes I still rub my rudraksha malas in some cremation ashes I brought back from there. > > I also find it incredibly charging to leave the malas for some time on top of my Guru's padukas, on top of one of my Narmadeshwar Lingams (the bigger the better) or one of my large Parad Lingams. > > Pranams, > > Surya > - > syzenith > > Thursday, October 09, 2003 2:13 PM > Re: RBSC : Rudraksha and smashan bhumi? > > > Namaste & Pranaams Mahamuniji and Ashwini Yogiji, > > In resonance with your thoughts..
