Cleaning beads/Kari

Soaking the beads in water won't hurt them, and should dislodge the

gunk. Then, a toothbrush should get rid of the rest of it.

I let my beads air dry. I've never had a problem with mildew-- but I

live in the desert. I imagine patting them with a towel or paper

towels, and then hanging them up would work. Or, maybe using a hair

dryer on a low setting.

Some folks who live in hot, wet climates posted some mildew remedies,

to this list, awhile back. I imagine they'd show up on search.

Much love to you, Treasure Finder, K.

Dear Tiina:

If soaking in water doesn't help, try soaking in oil [olive] for 3 nights

and then wash with liquid soap and seasalt with soft tooth brush, the

seasalt will make it gritty, which is good for scrubbing..............

Love.

Hmmmm... sea salt is also very anti-mildew.
