Guest guest
Soaking the beads in water won't hurt them, and should dislodge the gunk. Then, a toothbrush should get rid of the rest of it. I let my beads air dry. I've never had a problem with mildew-- but I live in the desert. I imagine patting them with a towel or paper towels, and then hanging them up would work. Or, maybe using a hair dryer on a low setting. Some folks who live in hot, wet climates posted some mildew remedies, to this list, awhile back. I imagine they'd show up on search. Guest guest
Dear Tiina: If soaking in water doesn't help, try soaking in oil [olive] for 3 nights and then wash with liquid soap and seasalt with soft tooth brush, the seasalt will make it gritty, which is good for scrubbing..............
