Guest guest
Namaste Jorge, Below is a copy of an old message that I posted here a long time ago. It was about my 'journey' with a Navratna mala. It was so good that I never took it off until the Cat's Eye turned mostly white in color. I realised then that the mala has completed its mission. Now my beloved Navratna mala is accorded its rightful place on my altar and I'm soon going to obtain a new one from Rudra Centre India. Since posting the message below about Navratna, I had several enquiries in Australia for Navratna rings. These friends who ordered the rings wanted the best quality gems and were prepared to pay for superior quality. They got their rings ranging from US$450 upwards to US$2000-. All were happy with the gems and all reported good results (for example: old injuries seem not to bother them any more, business activities improved, smooth progress with projects, etc.). Here is the old msg retrieved from the testimonials page of Rudra Centre home office website : --- Syzenith Namaste Sri DharmaDev Arya & Friends, Sisters and Brothers, sorry for long absence and missed you all. Been a busy 3 odd months. Dropping by to say hi to everyone and also to mention that I'd done a 40-day discipline with a Navratna Mala which I got from Rudra Centre India. The results? Absolutely wonderful. For 10 years, everything in my life was blocked and there was no movement. I was neither here nor there. "In limbo" was the best description I could give. Upon 30- odd days of wearing the Navratna mala, everything started happening. All that was stagnant began moving at last. And fast too. It was like the heavens finally decided I'd had enough austerities :-) Developments, all positive, kept me on my toes. In my case, a few weeks after the 'discipline' when I was very busy, I fell ill for 6 weeks. It was like a purging process, terrible for the first 3 weeks. Put on my Navratna mala again with a Durga Yantra (locket) on it. Helped considerably. Had this 'knowing' of when I would get well too. It was a strange period but has ended well. One of my customers who got a Navratna Mala (an elderly Brahmin lady) was ecstatic with it. She had one many years ago while living in Asia but lost it. She feels good wearing it and life is smooth for her. No problems to report on her part. My mala was in white thread with knots and hers was made with silver from Rudra Centre India. Actually hers is very beautiful. I swear by the Navratna Mala. When in conversation with a highly spiritual gent from North India, he told me that navratna malas seem to be more powerful than the rings. Cannot help but agree with him after my own experience. I know several people in Australia who have the rings and witnessed that while some things might have moved for them, other areas remained the same. Its like they still have some sort of karma to resolve. All wear their rings on the middle finger of the right hand with the gems touching the skin. If anyone here has experiences with Navratna Mala, pendants or rings, please can you share? All appreciated, thank you. ================================== Om Namah Shivaya, Sy , António Lourenço <mop71543@m...> wrote: > Hello, > > Does anyone here in the group had positive experiences with the Navaratna mala? Guest guest
Thank you Sy for your answer. Now there is something I must confess: it was your description in the rudrakshna-ratna site that made me make this inquiry to the group. For some time now I am wandering about weather or not I should order a rudrakshna mala, yet according to my knowledge of Vedic astrology, I confess that I don't understand how a malefic planet can give good effects when we wear his gem. Yet, the most important thing is the personal experience and not the intellectual understanding. So I think that I can understand from your words that you only have positive things to relate right? Guest guest
Namaste Jorge, As far as I know, the oldest reference to the navratna being classified as great and lesser gems (maharatnani and uparatnani), is in the Agastimata (shlokas 327-28.131). The Buddhabhatta's Ratnapariksa describes how each nava-graha deity became associated with a particular gemstone. According to this the gods were nine in number, hence the gemstone group associated with them became known as the "nine gemstones" or Navratna. As a group they are said to be an amulet of great defensive and remedial advantages. There are further concepts in the tenth-century manuscript of Agastimata, shlokas 343-44. As mentioned in the Navaratnaparkisa, the arrangement of Nava-grahas and the Navaratna associated with them creates a metaphor of the universe. I can go on and on….., and bore you with pages and pages of details J But to cut a long story short, Navratnas (as a group) do not strengthen malefic planets; they energize weak planets allowing only beneficial planetary rays to enter the body. Sincerely, words cannot quite express the vissicitudes of appreciation, respect and immense gratitude to my humble Navratna mala (white thread and knots with tassle) for ridding 10 years of ongoing adversities and bestowing blessings that I thought till then, only happened to others. Btw, the people who ordered Navratna rings set in 22 carat gold from myself, have reported various respective significant improvements in health, circumstances, career, harmony, finance and other aspects. Many mentioned along the lines of "blocks have been removed" and they were able to get a move on. There are plenty of jewelers, goldsmiths and gemologists in Australia but I haven't approached any of them regarding the making of Navratna rings. To date, I go through Miss Neeta (bless her wonderful soul) to have them custom-made and blessed in India before direct dispatch to those I've recommended. The gems are sourced according to a person's budget. Frankly, I haven't seen more excellent gem-sets of Navratnas than those from Rudra Centre where the value for the dollar is good. Let's take for example a yellow topaz of 5 carats (at US$2 per carat): For the same size and weight, the cost over here is about 6 to 10 times more depending on which shop one goes to, or its location. When I can think of more details, shall post here. Guest guest
Hello Sy, I am very impressed with your experience. After reading it I remembered something that was in the back of my memory: two years ago I took three gems related with my malefic planets from the arm bangle made by Nick Hodgson . In the moment I took them I felt as if the bangle had lost strength, equilibrium, but I rationalized and said to me " it's only your imagination...". After reading this message, and impressed by it, I placed again the three gems in the bangle, and, again, I felt as if the bangle power had increased. I will wait and see what the future brings and them I will reevaluate my decision. I've just ordered a navaratna mala from Rudra Centre. With God permission maybe I will find with it the same joy and pleasurable experiences I feel from wearing my rudraksha mala, and, who knows, maybe I will be lucky enough to say after some time" I am glad I ordered that mala". Thank you very much my dear Sy, Jorge Lourenço - "syzenith" <syzenith <> Wednesday, October 22, 2003 12:05 PM RBSC : Re: Navaratna mala/Jorge Namaste Jorge, As far as I know, the oldest reference to the navratna being classified as great and lesser gems (maharatnani and uparatnani), is in the Agastimata (shlokas 327-28.131). Guest guest
Namaste Jorge, Thank you for the lovely message. Glad my humle postings helped in some small way and happy to know you analyzed things before making decisions. About the three gems in your arm bangle, its something to do with the vibrational speed of gems.. (Terminology eludes me this afternoon sitting out a Sydney storm with thunder, must go offline soon too.) The gems "make" the bangle. The bangle is "quite empty" (depends on the metal used and your zodiac) without the gems, hence the power- increase when placed in the bangle. Looking forward to hearing your experiences with Navratna mala after you begin wearing it! Pls keep a little journal if you have time. I used to wear it with a humble Sidd Mala. Hope you will discover the same joy and benefits as you have with rudraksha!!
