Guest guest
Namaste Oleji, Make of it, and other matters, whatever and however you will. In India, there are systems to sustain spirituality, holy men, temples, etc. In the West, people such as sanyasins and priests (for example), do not have such community support. Some continue their works by taking donations for example. Some "work" for temples or shrines. Some temples, ashrams and other spiritual organizations "sell" rudraksha and malas. Many are on the web too. Another example: Donations for puja, is that not "trade"? (i.e. Our temple does this for you, in return you make a donation of such and such, so we can sustain/maintain our temple and our priests). Fair exchange, is it not? Have you read the scriptures? Maybe you can tell us what they say, thanks.
