Several close friends of DharmaDeva's are currently in line of these fires. Due to manpower shortage, he is preparing to be in the front lines of putting these fires out in this area as he has had past experience with Volunteer Fire Departments. We will know within the next 8 hours if this is necessary for him to do this..so asking please for your prayers and light and love in this situation.. Many Thanks. Unfortunately there are friends who live in very rural areas who have been without electricity since Sunday.. Quite odd living in an area declared a "Disaster Area"..but have been able to do alot of practices today and its been great to have such loving support from others..but all of the Southern California area is in great trouble and the situation is still very serious. So great prayer support is still needed. Reinforcement firefighters are coming here and yes..Goddess Bhumi is helping with weather.. Thanks again for your kind thoughts.. She told me of several stories of folks who were caught in the fires there this summer and were forced to go into Star Lake only to find themselves in the company of deer and bears who were also escaping. The Native American Elders declared that these fires are purification. Take Care. We received word not too long ago that the specific fire that was threatening Dharma Deva's property has been put out ... THis is really extraordinary as most of the fires have not even been contained, let alone extinquished so we definately have the Shining Ones to thank for This. The Santa Anas have also died down and reinforcement firefighters have been called in. The situation is far from being over, but happily, DharmaDev is off in the meditation room deep in samadhi and not battling with a firehose :-) We seem to be all clear for at least another 20 hours, but the general situation in the area is far from over and many are in need of prayer support. I just thought I give a short up-date on my 'Diwali' miracle. I decided to do 'Parad' Ganesh pooja starting Wednesday, prior to Diwali. In addition to the laddoos I offered, I also offered him milk in a brass spoon and placed it close to his trunk. well to my astonishment the milk kept on disappearing. I re-filled the spoon a few times in the day time and then over night the milk was gone as well. some of the laddoos have teeth marks. I have not removed the laddoos yet. If anybody would like me to send you the laddos which were offered to Ganesha, I will be more than happy to share. I could wrap the laddoo in foil and then mail them out. I don't have too many, only a handful. One of the laddoo has shrunk in size and is not so round anymore. Day after Diwali, Ganesh slowed down with the milk, however, I offered a spoonful yesterday morning and when I went home the milk was gone, so I filled the spoon again and it was gone again this morning.....will see....after work.
