Wanted to thank everyone for your happy words and prayers. Friends' properties have been spared as that fire is being contained. Surrounding environment here at Rudra Centre America is like a volcano has erupted ..We have alternating sunshine and dark smoke. Air quality is unhealthy leaving Dharma Deva and I to have sneezing contests. :-) Two of the major fires have not been contained and there are still many people who have lost homes and those who may still lose homes.. Guest guest Posted October 30, 2003 Report Share Posted October 30, 2003 Dear Sis Kanti: Parad Ganesh is big on miracles.....I will continue to pray for the fires to die down....is 'Father' Sun mad or upset with us, seems like Sun is ready to engulf mother earth.......any theories on this other than whats on the news....perhaps if we all can start offering a cup of water to the Sun first thing in the morning after shower, [even on a plant pot], to thank the Sun for all the life for that exists on earth and just be grateful, as without the Sun there be no life at all. We have had lovely weather the past few days..even rain.. DharmaDev and I were enjoying the most beautiful and spectacular sunset this evening. So hard to believe so much destruction took place.
