Guest guest
Namaskar: Some beads require more oil than others..it depends on how old they are and what harvest they come from. Have found that mustard oil is the most effective with really dry beads and that can be purchased atany Indian Grocery store. Have not personally seen beads crack, but I know that it happens..It seems to occur through some sort of karmic absorption that has occured. Often ..if the cracking is very noticeable, some folks choose to retire that bead and place on puja. Many people do prefer to wear rudraksha in pairs. Take care.
