Hello,

I read some time ago, that one should not do japa with the same mala that one

use to wear.

Yet, from what I understood from Dharma Dev words, we could do it without a

problem.

Is my understanding correct Dharma Dev?

Thank you,

Dear Jorge Ji

Namaskar Mitra and thank you for your message........we know different people

wear and do Japa in different ways.....some choose to wear the Japa Malas

after Japa due to the tremendous energy that is felt from the Mala.......If Japa

is done correctly and the Meru Bead is not passed over then this one Bead also

stores a tremendous amount of energy that can help a person if the person

wears the Mala between Japas.......Is really a matter of choice.....personally I

really enjoy wearing Malas that are used in Japa....the energy they give the

wearer is immense........There is a similar experience whan Malas used in

Meditation are worn during the day in our daily duties

Hope this helps My Friend

Thanks and Take Care

Namaste Jorge,

They say there are infinite paths to God but we follow the one that

has strong "calls" for us. Depending on the traditon/order that one

follows, some folks wear their japa malas and some don't. But

SRDDAji is absolutely correct that we can do it without problems.

Yes you understood him perfectly.
