Namaste Jorge,

Yes indeed I was horribly ill that time.. when I disappeared from

this List for several months. It was a copper Durga Yantra locket

that I wore with my Navratna mala. It was sold by Rudra Centre. If

you click on the Yantras section of the website, you will see the

Durga Yantra locket amongst many others.

I've used Durga Yantras (coppper Plates from Rudra Centre) and found

they are excellent. I only have one "murthi" as such, a gift from

a friend in Singapore of Shree Hanumanji in clay. The rest are

either Yantras from Rudra Centre or of framed pictures brought back

from India by spiritual friends as gifts or donations. My own

collection of murthis went astray at sea when I moved to Australia.

Hard to believe but truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.

In obtaining a Durga statue, please write to Miss Neeta at

neeta_ind Although Rudra Centre does not feature many

murthis on the site, there *May Be* miscellaneous murthis in stock.

Its "maybe" but still worth checking with Miss Neeta about this.

Namaste again Jorge,

The only places in Europe I can think of, that may have Maa Durga

murthis are Stuttgart in Germany where Lord Ganesh respledently

rolls on the streets in fabulous floats and parades during Ganesh

Chartuthi each year (thanks to the wonderful Indian population

there). Say if we can find "kaini" (black kaini also) in Frankfurt,

then there are bound to be murthis.

Another place is the flea market in Malaga, Spain if you happen to

get over there. Yet another place would be London where lots of

Indians have settled. Sorry I don't know of any places in Portugal.
