Do Malas and Yantras work?

Dear Miss

another possibility might be that many dont wish to share their experiences

in public or to someone they just met on the internet.....that is why many

volunteered testimonials are on our website at

www.rudraksha-ratna.com.......inviteing you to read what has been placed as

testimonials on the website

an additional possibility is that it really isnt necessary to convince

someone of the Power of the Rudraksa.........some people are attracted to the

Rudraksa and some are not.....the Rudraksa find their own homes with people who

are

ready for them to be in their lives.....since our work of Service does not

include patting ourselves on the back I have no idea where this comment is

comeing from.......most likely something from your past that has nothing to do

with

the present moment

Wishing you and Family the Best

Thanks and Take Care

Hi Maryjo,

This is Barbara. I do not know whether the malas "work." I don't really know

what that means. I wear them because I believe in Lord Shiva and Lord Shiva

said to wear them. I have been wearing a lot of rudraksha for a very long

time, and I have never had any reactions to them--reactions such as rashes

or buzzing, etc. I have just recently ordered the 108 + 1 7-mukhi mala which

I received, and I have just ordered the 108 +1 8-muki mala, a 2, 3 and 9

mukhi. I have many 4 and 5 mukhi beads and a number of 6 mukhi beads, also,

and 1 14-mukhi bead. Whether they cause wealth, health, etc., I do not know.

I wear them because Lord Shiva said to wear them, and even if they don't

"work" I will still wear them. Just wear them because Lord Shiva said to do

so, and don't worry about whether they "work." Lord Shiva will look after

you.

I do not see how it is possible to see if they "work," because to make such

a test valid scientifically, you would have to know what would happen to

your life in the future a) if you did not wear them, and b) if you did wear

them. Since it is not possible to know what would have happened to my life

if I had not worn rudraksha, but only what has happened since I have worn

them, it is not possible to do this test. Love, Barbara

Dear Mayjo

Our group site and distribution is doing just fine in the present format

where people express their joy without reservation....simply responding to your

method of communicateing your ideas to others of how you feel the

world....should be

Thanks

Dear DharmaDev:

No need to get so defensive about Rudrakshas. You just sell them,

you didn't invent them. :-)))

It is perfectly normal for first time buyers to be skeptical about

something that seems so good to be true. As someone pointed out a

few posts ago a little faith and devotion help - and that comes with

time and with knowledge. So don't take it personally. IMO (in my

opinion) it will give your newsgroup more credibility if it had a

balanced discussion sometimes rather than gushing posts all the

time. That is when our BS antenna goes up.

I went to the testimonials sections and this time found some notes

that actually talk about the efficacy of the rudrakshas. The first

time I visited that page there were only thank you notes about the

quick answers, prompt delivery, and good quality of the beads. I

wanted to hear more. Now is that a crime?

No one has mentioned yantras, yet. Now that is something I know a

little more about and know they work. I wonder if people will share

there experiences - good or bad - and suggestions on how to make

them work. I was told that you MUST have the murti in addition to

the yantra. Wonder if that is correct.

Dear Jose,

I try not to look for things and to just accept what Lord Shiva brings.

Perhaps Lord Shiva wants me to have something different from what I want.

I just want to state for the record that rudraksha-ratna.com has some nice

beads. I visited Dharma Dev when he was just starting out and bought a bunch of

collector beads at very reasonable prices. I think they are a reputable

operation.
