Guest guest
Namaste Suryaji, Gushing in awe and delight at your descriptions, thank you for sharing. Peppercorn size, wowwww! Oh yes, I believe there is as much Shakti in tiny beads as in bigger ones. What is your take on Parad? Do you feel parad can pack more punch in a mala? 17 GS chikna-- This is something I haven't seen at all. Would appreciate a picture of course, if you have time. But truly its not necessary to take one of your entire altar unless you really want to. In that case, would be most highly honored. Double tiger claw as well..! You are indeed full of surprises. I've only seen single claws on natives of Borneo and Indo-china such as Burma, Kampuchea and Vietnam. You're right, they're very old and even antique. Not possible to get them in modern times, unless collectors hit the black market or get sold duds. Or unless they get it from some auction. No wonder Babas went ga ga over the claws. Very amazed with your private treasures, would love to hear more whenever you please. Bet you have quite an Aladdin's Cave :-) Om Namah Shivaya Sy , "mahamuni" <mahamuni@c...> wrote: > Currently I wear the 15 face GS with the really small chiknas and one of Amma's beads. The chicknas are peppercorn size. They are exquisiste. This mala is barely noticeable when I wear it. I am always in awe of this. It is so light and feels so nice. Before I put the GS on, it just felt like I was wearing silk or something. Don't get me wrong...the Shakti is still very perceptable but the energy is not dense like in the next mala I am going go describe. > > I also wear a 14 mukhi on a mala that is made up of beads that were Amma's. Different types of rudrakshas on that one, including some of the rare white ones. That has a bead of parad between the 14 and the rest. It had a double tiger claw piece wrapped in gold that I designed and had made in India. I was lucky enough to find about 10 authentic tiger claw pieces and made them into similar pieces. Very tough to find the real thing. These are old pieces. The Babas went ga ga over them. > > I still have a few more malas to be restrung. Guest guest
There is much fake tiger claw but it is easy to tell real from fake. Real claws have many lines on them like your own nails. The fakes are clear of these. Tiger has always been associated with Shiva. You see him sitting on a Tiger skin and sometimes wearing the double claws. Quite a few Babas have them. Black market still exists. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them if I desired them there. I'm not seeking these any longer. I have enough. Nice thing about the chiknas is that the higher muhkhis really can't be faked. - syzenith Wednesday, November 12, 2003 2:21 AM RBSC : 21 mukhi & Gauri Shankar/Surya Namaste Suryaji, Gushing in awe and delight at your descriptions, thank you for sharing.
