Guest guest
G'day from Oz again Surya, How do you string the tiny peppercorn sized beads? Thread and needle? Nylon? Wire? I can't find one needle that fits into a 7mm bead, so anything from 7mm and smaller, are beyond me unless its strung with wire or nylon (20-pounder fishing tackle). I find navel-length malas strung with different mukhi beads centering and grounding, giving a sense of wellness and of "being present in the here and now". Would like to hear your take on this particular length if you care to share, thank you. Guest guest
We strung them with wire. I had the shop do it in Haridwar. The long mala I had was powerful but heavy and impractical for my everyday usage. I am fairly active. I love Parad but I don't think it is for everyone. It is definitely very heating. There are more problems with fake Parad then fake rudraksha. Again the true knowledge lies with certain Babas, some of which I was lucky enough to meet, and certain herbalists from family lineages, which usually got the knowledge from a Baba to begin with. I did not go into great discussions about this yet. I need to master Hindi first. - syzenith Wednesday, November 12, 2003 2:34 AM RBSC : Navel length mala/Surya G'day from Oz again Surya, How do you string the tiny peppercorn sized beads?
