Namaste Friends,

By the way, an interesting incident occured recently at Rudra Centre

India when a couple visited.

They'd bought 2 beads of "One Mukhi Round" from the Chinmaya Ashram

in Mumbai for Rs.8000 each bead. The beads were of Indonesian

origin, about 10mm with one visible line on the exterior. When one

of the beads was cut transversally, there was a beautiful

arrangement of 5 seeds inside. This confirmed the beads to be 5

mukhi "tarted up" to pose as One mukhi Round.

Lines on Indonesian beads are quite faint and they are quite easy to

tamper with, to make them invisible.

Several other Indonesian beads were then cut to see if they would

show any difference. It was discovered that even if the exterior

surface doesn't show clear mukhis, the interior shows it very

clearly.

The couple rushed back to Chinmaya Mission to ask for refund but

were turned down. They were told there is no proof that One mukhi

needs to have one seed only.
