Guest guest
Namaste Rajiv, I have not shown beads to Neetaji. Maybe next year I will visit Mumbai and some places in the South. Right now, my beads do not have to be seen by Neetaji because I buy them from Rudra Centre. I'm also very fussy so I give her lots of stress when supplying to me :-). You are right, she is a perfectionist, that is why I get on so well with her. She sends only good beads but tells me in advance the description and size. Then sometimes she would say "Ah Simoneji, you are asking too much.....! This harvest has not produced the particular bead you are looking for.. I can't supply this right now; until I find one as you described..". If I'm not wrong, your message is largely addressed to Chandrakshekhar. And you are right about just knowing botanical terms does not mean a person has full advanced knowledge of rudraksha. I can use fancy terminology too but refrain from it because this only confounds the layman. Chandrakshekhar knows why the beads he showed at Rudra Centre were declared fake. He also went to see Mr. K.N. Seetha to try and sell his beads. I know several other friends who have gone to Rudra Centre to dispose of their beads. Yes they say the same as you mentioned Rajiv. Neetaji does not like commenting on other people's collection, unless you insist and unless there is good reason. Those who can differentiate the genuine from the dud, often feel repelled by the dud once they set eyes on it. It is great that you got a full refund after seeing Mr. Narain Bhatia of Chinmaya Mission in Mumbai. Thank you for sharing your experience. It is always good to hear from you. SHE SAW MY ONE MUKHI AND DID NT COMMENTED ON IT AT ALL. BUT AFTER LOT OF PURSUATION FROM MY SIDE SHE TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A FIVE MUKHI BEAD, WHERE ONLY ONE MUKH IS VISIBLE AND REST 4 MUKHS HAVE BEEN ARTIFICIALLY HIDDEN. PLEASE BELIEVE ME IT WAS JUST LOOKING A PERFECT AND A REAL BEAD BUT SINCE I HAD SPENT QUITE A BIT OF MONEY IN PURCHASING THAT AND WAS VERY RELIGIOUSLY TAKING CARE OF THAT TOO, I WAS QUITE SHOCKED TO HEAR THAT AND FELT SAD AS WELL. SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE CAN CUT IT AND PROVE IT. SOMEHOW I MADE UP MY MIND AND SHE GOT THE BEAD CUT THROUGH HER ARTISIAN. I WAS STUNNED WITH HER JUDGEMENT AS AFTER CUTTING IT LATERALLY FIVE SEEDS INSIDE WERE VERY CLEAR AND NICELY SEEN. THEN SHE SHOWED ME AND EXPLAINED HOW THOSE MUKHS HAD BEEN ARTIFICIALLY CONCEALED. HATS OFF TO HER. > THEN I SHOWED THAT CUT PIECES OF SO CALLED ONE MUKHI RUDRAKSHA TO MR. NARAIN BHATIA OF CHINMIYA MISSION AND GOT MY WHOLE MONEY REFUNDED FROM HIM. Guest guest
DEAR SY JI, MY MAIL WAS FOR MR CHANDRASHEKHAR ONLY AND NOT FOR YOU. I JUST WANTED TO KEEP IN THE PICTURE. I CAN SAY WITH GREAT CONFIDENCE THAT IF RUDRA CENTRE SAYS THAT A PARTICULAR BEAD IS FAKE , THAT MEANS IT IS FAKE. RUDRA CENTRE DID TELL MR CHANDRASHEKAR THAT HIS BEADS WERE FAKE. Guest guest
Namaste Rajiv, Thanks for responding and clarifying, yes I understand.. I have immense faith in Rudra Centre's authentification for rudraksha and the good work they do to ensure consumer protection. It is sad that many people get cheated by shonks and keep worshipping duds on the altar, then they wonder why there are no results.
