Guest guest
Namaste Barbara, Just a humble two dimes worth: 1) How about enquiring with Hindu temples and organizations in your country? 2) Some folks get holy ash from the Yagyas they perform, after oblations, offerings, prayers and mantras, etc. etc. If you have a chance to perform even a small Yagya or a Hotra, there would be no need to rely on outside sources for holy ash. Guest guest
Hello Barbara, Where do you live? If you live in Europe I remember that in England, London, there is a temple ( ? ) dedicated to Sai Baba where you can find the holy ash. Guest guest
Hello friends - bhasma is not common holy ash but rather is the highly purified ash resulting from the repeated heating of precious gems and metals for use in certain ayurvedic medicines. The holy ash you may be looking for is known as vibhuti and is available at the website of Sri Siva among other places: http://store./vaaaksounds/sacashvib.html thanks, Alan >"elaeocarpaceae2003" <barbjs > > >RBSC : bhasma >Thu, 20 Nov 2003 20:13:41 -0000 > >Dear Group, > >Does anyone know where to buy bhasma (holy ash)? > >Thanks, > >Barbara > _______________ Has one of the new viruses infected your computer? Guest guest
Hi Sy, I can't perform Yagyas. Sometimes I apply three lines to my forehead from the ash left from incense. Alan Sherr has found a Web Page for sacred ash at http://store./vaaaksounds/sacashvib.html I did have sacred ash at one time, but I used it all. Three little lines do not seem enough. Hope that this helps anyone else who needs this product. Thanks, Barbara - "syzenith" <syzenith <> Thursday, November 20, 2003 1:20 PM RBSC : Re: bhasma > Namaste Barbara, > > Just a humble two dimes worth: > > 1) How about enquiring with Hindu temples and organizations in your > country? > > 2) Some folks get holy ash from the Yagyas they perform, after > oblations, offerings, prayers and mantras, etc. etc. > > If you have a chance to perform even a small Yagya or a Hotra, there > would be no need to rely on outside sources for holy ash. > > Jai Maa > Sy > > --- In > , "elaeocarpaceae2003" > <barbjs@s...> wrote: > > Dear Group, > > > > Does anyone know where to buy bhasma (holy ash)? > > > > Thanks, > > > > Barbara > > > > To send an email to: > > > > Your use of is subject to > >
