When they are worn by human beings, who are also inherently divine and empowered - a wonderful experience happens that is unique for each person wherein we become more balanced and whole. Even without faith - this experience happens. When it does begin to happen, faith grows and the experience becomes even more powerful. For this experience - two elements are necessary.... the Rudraksha beads and the person who wears them. Supreme Reality - Brahman (Siva) has two aspects, transcendent (impersonal) and immanent (personal). In the impersonal aspect Brahman is without attributes (nirguna Brahman). In personal aspect (saguna Brahman) the God is creator, preserver and controller of the universe. Saguna Brahman is worshipped in male and female form. Hindu Deities represent various perceptions of a one God.
