I wish you were right here so I could give you a big hug! Don't give up, Barbara, even if your life has not changed yet. I too have had absolutely no effects from the beads, but that doesn't mean that they do not help on some unexperienceable level, and more importantly, rudraksha are not the end-all of your being. They are a tool that may or may not help, an incarnation of God that may or may not be of certain uses to you. Just as there are many religions and forms of God, and not all are for everyone, so there are these many remedies. I am wondering if you have a guru or spiritual teacher whom you trust who could help you? It seems to me that what you need now is some very tangible comfort and guidance. I did do some devotions yesterday; it is partly force of habit--I had been doing devotions in the morning. Alan Scherr sent some sacred ash to me, and I like that. I bought some more rudraksha beads, about 200 in all, but 20 or so must be discarded. I will see my Christian friend tomorrow. Usually she cheers me up, for, for some reason, she and I seem to have the same experiences, at the same time, except with different people. Thank you for your concern.
