Oil Used for Rudraksha/to Rajeswara Jee & Kari Jee

Thanks to both of you for the reply. I really appreciate.

 

Last night I washed my mala in warm water and brushed them a bit. After patting

them with a cloth, I dipped them in Mustard Oil overnight. I actually also tried

olive oil but it was giving a stale smell, so I preffered mustard oil instead.

 

In the morning, I wipped them with tissue and them came up quite good. They were

looking very beautiful and clean.

 

I smelled the oil which I used, it was smelling different, the beads had left

their smell in the same. I applied the same on my throat, as it was little soar,

in seconds I was quite relaxed. So, I think it is a good idea not to throw the

oil rather apply the same on body before bath.

already performed the initial puja for the beads, there's is necessity to do it

again after 40 days. if you wish you can do once again for your satisfaction.

this will only give you more shakthi. regarding oil to be used, i prefer mustard

oil for my beads. it cleans perfect. i dont find any reason to throw away the

oil. after all you soaked holy rudrakshas in them. if not for cooking you can

apply it on your body half an hour before bath. any more suggestions by

anybody else ?????

You will probably find that cleaning, oiling, and scenting your beads regularly

is a

very pleasurable meditation, and a wonderful way to "build a relationship" with

your

Both oils are GREAT for the skin, AND for the beads! I just depends on personal

preference, which oil you use.

 

Whatever works best for you is the best thing to do.
