Guest guest
I live in Texas, am a new member and I am a student of ancient spiritual traditions. Specifically, Hinduism and Buddhism, especially Mahayana Buddhism. I have even studied Judaism at some length. I am very interested in Chinese and Indian cultures. I was raised Christian but feel that the older religions have much more appeal to me. I believe there are many different paths to truth and each person has their own way to their truth. I have been collecting statues for placement on an altar which is not set up yet. I have a Shiva Nataraj, a four armed Kwan Yin and a Medicine Buddha. I feel that one cannot study Buddhism without studying Hinduism which it came from. I look forward to sharing ideas with the members. Peace and Namaste, Sharon
