Guest guest
Dear members, Om Namah Shivay. Following is mentioned in Shiv Maha purana, Vidyeshwar Samhita. "A person who wears a Rudraksha without anointing it with mantra, goes to hell for 1000 yugas or 4,320,000,000 years. " Is it correct? If yes what is the exact meaning of "Anointing with Mantra"? Thank you very much for your help. Nilesh
Guest guest
Dear Nileshji Namaskar Mitra and thank you for your message..........to anoint can mean to chant Mantra for Rudraksa you are wearing........Aum Namah Shivaya takes care of this problem however I must admit this phrase in the Holy Book is kind of scarey to any person wearing...........if you simply chant Aum Namah Shivaya you will be perfect in satisfying the need to anoint the Holy Rudraksa with the proper sounds.....This is one of the reasons all the Holy Items from Rudra Center are anointed with the Ceremonies and Mantras in the Blessings by Hindu Priests before they are sent to any of our clients Hope this helps Mitra Thanks and Take Care DharmaDev In a message dated 1/27/2004 1:32:13 AM Pacific Standard Time, nilesh_chandode writes: > > > Dear members, > > Om Namah Shivay. > Following is mentioned in Shiv Maha purana, Vidyeshwar Samhita. > > "A person who wears a Rudraksha without anointing it with mantra, > goes to hell for 1000 yugas or 4,320,000,000 years.
