Sundeep's experience/relief of applying the rudraksha-soaked oil, i

feel the oil gains medicinal property also. mustard oil as it is has

certain medicinal properties, and is used widely in the northern

india for many purposes apart from cooking, applying as hair oil and

also as a pain relief. .

by way of soaking different mukhi beads overnite. Any ideas?????

Whichever you prefer. I don't immerse my malas, because I don't want to cloud

the

gems with oil.

I mix a small amount of oil with a few drops of scent, and apply

carefully to each bead, making sure that it gets into the crevases. Then, I

lay them

on paper towels, for while to let the oils soak in. before wearing, I blot with

paper

towels.

BTW-- You might, at some point, want to experiment with different bead

combinations to create your own special malas for different needs and goals, if

you

haven't already.

The charts on the rudraksha-ratna w/s have all the information about the

qualities

and powers of each bead and gemstone. And, there are several professional

malamakers, on this l/s, to advise.

You're RIGHT! That's a great idea!!!!!! Thanks!!!!! I'm gonna try that!

I imagine it would be especially great for muscle rubs and skin inflammations or

dryness. Very warming and healing.

I have some loose beads that are not attached to gems. I think I will immerse

some in

different oils, and experiment.

I DID once make a "panchmukhi battery" that I use to charge water.

We know that immersing a panchmukhi in water, then drinking it, is a

preventative/

curative for heart disease. I don't have heart disease, but an extra "vitamin"

couldn't

hurt. <g> And, I wanted to experiment, anyway.

We also know that 5s work better in groups of three, attached nose-nose and

rear-

rear. So, I wired three together, on sterling silver (for electroconductivity).

I drink the

charged water every morning.

YUM! It has a slight, pleasant and woody taste of the beads.

or pure natural ones i.e aromatic oils or ITRA(perfume

extracted naturally from flowers etc).

Different people use different oils and scents. But, I use olive oil, and pure,

natural,

sandalwood essential oil from the health food store. Just a personal preference.

The crevasses in the bead are just the pores-- the lower part of the bead

surface

between the protrusios. That means I just make sure the whole surface of the

bead is

covered with oil.

Thanks! K.
