Guest guest
Namaskar. Dear Group Members, i have some substance, unknown to me, included in my puja set. Today I looked at Rudra Center website and recognised the container. It is called Ashthagandha with saphron - sould someone maybe tell what is the purpose and meaning of this powder? Respectfully, Tigre
Guest guest
Dear Tigre, Namaste. There are several uses for ashtha-gandha. The most common is to apply to the head, hands, and feet of the deity (or guru for guru puja) you are doing the puja for. This is accompanied with the proper bija and mula-mantras. Hope this helps.
