It has a sweet, buttery, woody aroma that is very sensual. It is uplifting and relaxing and is beneficial for all types of skin. Traditionally burnt as an aid to meditation and much used in religious ceremonies. Creates an exotic, sensual atmosphere with a reputation as an aphrodisiac. Excellent skincare oil. useful for dry and damaged hair and as a body fragrance. Traditional uses are antiseptic, emollient, soothing agent, astringent, insect repellent, and skin conditioner. Blends well with rose, violet, clove, lavender, black petter, bergamot, geranium, labdanum, vetiver, patchouli, mimosa, myrrh, and jasmine. -------------- Carrier Oils: ************ Castor Carrier Oil Has been used for centuries. This oil is extracted at a low temperature to keep the Ricin from being in the oil. Used as an analgesic, clearing blackheads, and dandruff. Also, excellent as a laxative or on a warm compress to draw impurites from the skin and subdermal tissues. Evening Primrose Carrier Oil Rich in vitamins and minerals, this oil is excellent for your face and body alone, or in massage blends. It is to combat dry, devitalized skin, and eczema. It is also used in capsule for for aveliating pre-menstrual syndrom (PMS), rheumatoid arthritis, and weight reduction. Evening Primrose Oil is of exceptionally fine texture & has superb mosturizing properties. Coconut Carrier Oil Usually deodorized for use in aromatherapy, coconut oil can aid tanning & is reputed to filter the sun's rays. Must be heated to liquify, and unless diluted, cannot be used with an atomizer top. Can cause a rash on those with sensitve skin. A favorite for skin conditioning after sun exposure or during dry winter conditions. Jojoba Carrier Oil This unique oil is composed liquid wax dervied from the jojoba bean. It is good for all skin types and is beneficial in the treatment of dry scalp, and aging skin. Good for all skin types. A conditioning oil, Jojoba is a perfect skin conditioner for after a shower, instead of lotion. Sesame Carrier Oil A light oil, yet rich in vitamins and minerals it is a good choice for all skin types and can assist with psoriasis, eczema, rheumatism, and arthritis. A universal oil that can be used for dry skin and body aches. Sweet Almond Oil The top choice by most aromatherapists. Good for all skin types. Cold pressed and filtered, it is good for dry skin, and can help relieve itching, soreness and dryness. Use alone or mix with your favorite essential oils for use on your entire body. Wheatgerm Carrier Oil Wheatgerm is ideal for marture skins and scaring. This oil is high in vitamin E and has a nutty aroma.
