Guest guest
Namaste Tulasi, If you ask certain tantrics, they will say it does not matter. In their cases, their meditations and instincts guide them. IMVHO, the direction does not matter. It is your shakti and devotion that are more important. About observances being strict or not strict, is entirely up to you taking in consideration: family background, guru lineage, spiritual training, space in the room or home shrine, etc. If in doubt, please consult a Vaastu practitioner or your local priest.
