Guest guest
All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga! Haribol, I am moving tomorrow and found a nice emplacement for my future altar in the Southern part of the living room. When I was into Kali Ma worship some years ago, I was told that South was her direction and that normally an altar should not be in this direction. Can a Vaisnava altar (with Sri Gaura-Nitai and Sri Jagannath/ Sri Baladeva/ Srimati Subhadra Deities) be in the South-east section of a house? Does it matter? Are the Deities of Sri Jagannath/Sri Baladeva/Sri Subhadra to be worshipped in the Lakshmi-Narayana way (in opulence and with strict observances)? Thanks for any help! Hare Krsna! Mukunda Gauranga dasa P.S I already asked a similar question regarding the altar's emplacement but I have no other option than the South.. What is the sanskrit word for the altar?
