Namaste ! ,

I am a new member and i had just purchased a Ek-Mukhi from rudraksha

ratna. I have some questions which i would like answered.

1.) What is the procedure of 40 days of sadhana that you perform

with the rudraksha ?

2.) Does it get better results if you wear the ek mukhi or keep in

the puja ghar [Alter of worship] ?

3.) USe of Bija mantra. I have heard from a lots of Sadhaks that

unless a bija mantra is initiated to you by your guru it does not

have any effect. The Logic is that during initiation to the shishya

the guru transfers a small portion of the powers that the guru has

aquired during his spiritual practice to the shishya so that when

the shishya recites the mantra it gets a lot of power.

What if you are not able to find a suitable guru to initiate some of

the bija mantras which you want to recite ?

4. ) I have loked at another site http://www.rudrakshanepal.com/.

has anyone had any experience with these people and care to comment

on the quality of their products.

I gues it toomany question on my first post. I am soory fo that.

Wear is as much as possible, for 40 days, so that your beads and your own

energies

"allign." I also recommend using it to meditate, each day, using bija mantra or

"Om

Nama Shivaya." Actually, I use the mantram, 'Om Nama Shivaya, Shivaya Nama Om."

If

you decide to keep it on the altar, instead of wearing, meditate with it every

day.

The results are productive either way. Whichever feels intuitively right for

you. I prefer

wearing the beads, because I believe that that the should touch the skin.

However,

others report excellent results from keeping the beads on the altar.

I have heard that, too. However, I have used the bija mantram without a guru,

and

with spectular results. Remember, the power is also built into the word, itself,

over

the many millenia of usage. If you are worried about correct pronounciation,

many

websites and CDs offer examples that you can hear of different mantram.

Several members of this list have had problems with that site.

Not too many questions! Questions are welcome.

Thanks, and welcome! Kari
