Guest guest
Namaste Kartick, Agree with Sis Kariji; she's given you gread advice! In Sanatana Dharma, not all mantras have to be given by a guru. Unless you want to become a chela of the guru and his lineage, then of course you would need a guru mantra that is whispered in your ear. There are different schools of thought regarding Mantras. Some are strict and stick to gurus. Others are liberal or are free souls who look for the Inner Guru first. Even in Sanatana Dharma, we have Shiva devotees, Vishnu devotees, Devi worshippers and also there is a term called "Smarta Hindu".. I think you can find the term "Smarta Hindu" somewhere on the Himalayan Academy's website if I'm not wrong, or maybe its mentioned in the book "Dancing With Shiva" by Satguru Subramuniyaswami. About the rudraksha website you mentioned, there are many members here who were stung by them and some others.. Sri DharmaDev Aryaji when he gets online, will have more information. That particular website copies Rudra Centre's texts and photos, and even the testimonials. Rudra Centre is in No Way associated with that website. Please also bear in mind that many other websites also copy Rudra Centre's texts and photos, who are not associated either. They just infringe on Rudra Centre's web content and make it their own as they are too lazy to do their own research and make better efforts to come forward as respectable individuals whose achievements are based on their own efforts and merits. Thank you for your post. I also recommend using it to meditate, each day, using bija mantra or "Om > Nama Shivaya." Actually, I use the mantram, 'Om Nama Shivaya, Shivaya Nama Om." Guest guest
Dear Kartickji Namaskar and thank you for your message My Friend Can only comment from experience regarding other website mentioned and is really a difficult situation as the person who runs this website tries to make it look like ours by copying most all that we have on ours Problem is he is not part of our business and does not have the quality implementation that we have in India and they dont restrict their sale of Beads to the highest quality Rudra Center selects only about the top 30% of high quality Beads of any season and the Nepal Suppliers sell everything they can to retail clients The India retailers select and buy the best Beads from each years crops in Nepal and then the Nepalese are left with the remainder to sell to their retail clients so normally clients can obtain better Nepal Rudraksa from India than they can from many of the suppliers in Nepal There are some Nepal Suppliers that are really difficult to deal with due to the way they do business in that country.......when we dealt with this company to try and buy direct from Nepal we had our credit card number stolen and had to turn them into the fraud unit of our credit card company.....Rudraksha Nepal was setting up their website at the time and all the illegal charges were for website services internationally......they also told us that they could supply us with counterfiet beads that could not be detected and this really put us off doing business with them because this simply is not the right way to represent the Holy Rudraksa Makes a lot more sense to buy the Highest Quality Rudraksa from Retailers in India who already know how to select the finest Beads of any Season for their clients Hope this helps Thanks and Take Care DharmaDev Arya In a message dated 4/25/2004 3:14:20 PM Pacific Standard Time, viswa_k writes: > > > Namaste ! , > > I am a new member and i had just purchased a Ek-Mukhi from rudraksha > ratna.
