Guest guest
In the book Lord Krishna explains the causes in detail and offers the answer that leads to detachment. Understanding the eternal, cosmic and transitory nature of forces at work in creation. Most Indian sages have made the Gita their chief vehicle of ascent towards realizing God. The title itself literally means "The song of God". I find it an easy read, and at times he can be quite humorous. I also loved the book he wrote called "The integral Yoga". Between 1927 and 1950 Sri Aurobindo remained in seclusion while perfecting a new kind of spiritual practice he called the Integral Yoga. During this period he gave detailed guidance to disciples and seekers, responding to thousands of inquiries. This correspondence constitutes a major body of work on the practice of yoga-sadhana. No other Philosopher or contemplative of modern times has done more to reveal our possibilities for extraordinary life. I hope this helped.
