Hello everyone,

I am back again with a question about rudrakshas. When i first bought

the rudrakshas they had a nice light borwn red colored tint to them ,

I could also see the contours of the rudraksha . Now with continuos

wearing of the rudraksha in a pendant i have noticed that they have

turned very dark brown in color so much so that i can no longer

distinguish the contours of it clearly. Is it normal or is it that I

have been wearing it at all times in the day and I am supposed to

take it off while engaging in certain activities?

Thank you.

Dear Friend

is normal for the Rudraksa to become darker when worn as they pick up the

perspiration from the body......they will become lighter when placed in warm

water with a little liquid soap and brushed with soft tooth brush........then

dry

on paper towels and when dry add mustard oil or other oil to make them

lustrous again

hope this helps

Thanks and Take Care Mitra
