Namaste Sri DDji and Lori,

Much agree with DDji about kids under age 5. Lori, if you can be

specific about the health issues, perhaps we can assist with a

recommendation for beads with gentle vibrations suitable for young

kids.

There has been a successful case history from one of our our highly

valued members (Mr. H.) in Canada whose baby benefited and was cured

of problems with rudraksha. He continues to remain an active member

here whenever he has time to drop by. As I haven't permission to

disclose his name or private details regarding his child, I am

unable to do so.

My addition and complementary alternative to Sri DDji's advice:

----------------------------

Generally one, three or 5 beads of Panchmukhi rudraksha can be

strung in thread and tied to the top ends of the crib. Panchmukhi

(i.e. 5 mukhi rudraksha) assists with generation and protection of

all chakras. Panchmukhi is one of the gentlest beads that work on

subtle levels.

As for 9 mukhi, it is has been tested to remedy skin problems too

for kids, even babies. Again medical history with western medicines

used, or a detailed list of ailments need to be fully taken into

account and analysed before I would recommend from my research

database in Australia.

Shiva Purana, Srimad Devi Bhagavatam and other ancient texts with

info on rudraksha can also be found in the Books section of

www.rudraksha-ratna.com.au When you , scroll till

you find two books on Srimad Devi Bhagavatam. One is for US$12 and

the other thick, heavy volume is $18, I think..... Best to also

check with Mrs Neeta.

Another excellent book about Mantras is by Sri Vishnu-Devanand, one

of the direct and senior disciples of Sri Sri Sivananda. His book

is also found under the Books section of www.rudraksha-ratna.com

Please check them out when you have time.

Again Lori, please don't be shy about mentioning the health issues.

We are here to assist in dharma and seva as best we can in

disemminating the use and applications of rudraksha for therapy,

remedial alternatives, talismans and kavachas.

Thank you so much Simone and DharmaDev Arya,

I appreciate the clarifications. The health issues that I am

speaking of are most concerning for our baby son who is 1 year. He is

our 3rd child. At the age of 2 or 3 months old he sufferred from

bronchiolitis, and it was severe. It unforunately set him up for

chronic lung issues and wheezing, which were even more complicated by

reflux. He is diagnosed with severe reflux and severe asthma. He

has made some improvements as he has grown which is wonderful,

however he is still on a great deal of medication. When he gets a

cold he suffers most of the time from chronic cough that lasts for a

long time and much be treated with a nebulizer for 2-4 weeks, 3-4

times a day. (He's is on a nebulizer 1 time daily even when well) He

seems to be for some reason a baby who seems "catch everything" in

terms of viruses.

So, we are heading into cold and flu season and I am praying that

this winter will be much less severe than last. We celebrated

recently - a cold with no cough! This has never happened!

My second child is 3 years and also suffers from milder asthma and

reflux, but does not need treatment on a regular basis, only

occassional. However he too seems to be a child who picks up colds

and flu's easily. His reflux is probably what is most concerning.

Our daughter (5 yrs) has also had issues with mild asthma, but seems

to be outgrowing it. Her immune system is a bit stronger than the 2

boys. I was thinking about rudraksha beads for her due to the issues

that she has socially at times - she can be painfully shy and

cautious. She is a sensitive much like her mother! I see this as a

strength as well but I would like to assist her with her fears and

soothing anxiety. I do see how simple maturity will ease this,

however supporting her would be of major benefit to her and our whole

family.

I use alternative techniques on my children which include tachyon

crytal treatments and other tachyon support materials, and different

supplements as well. I will be learning reiki soon too.

I have come to learn about rudraksha through friends in a tachyon

group. I personally wear a tachyon crystal vortex pendant, and some

have compared the rudraksha to the energy and effects of this - (and

some have even said rudraksha is better!) I was pleased to learn

that rudraksha is suitable for children.

If you have more thoughts, please adivse. Thank you again for your

suggestions, and we appreciate your help :) The children are looking

forward to getting thier "healing beads" as they like to call them.

It is interesting how quickly they can tune in and gravitate to these

things...without question or a need to understand. We have so much

to learn from them.

Blessings
